ONE YEAR AGO WE GOT ENGAGED! Today we are sitting somewhere on a beach talking about all our silly hopes and dreams. This season has been the hardest one we have ever had to walk through. Looking back on it brings up a mix of emotions. 2 things that I kept going back to this year… 1. Psalm 23: repeating that to myself over and over, singing it in the car, being reminded of it by my sweet husband and friends. 2. “Lord here I am”: reminded that I don’t know what is happening or why it is happening but here I am. I don’t have much to give other than myself and here I am. Here I am in the moments that I need you the most and the moments where I don’t want to be near you at all. To the Lord remaining faithful and good in all seasons. To keeping the “Lord here I am” mentality in the next season & always singing Psalm 23 in my car.
