The balance we build within our bodies really does reflect the balance we create in our lives.

Today marks one year since I returned to dressage, and this moment honestly caught me off guard. Watching this back, I couldn’t believe how symmetrical and controlled my pull-downs looked.

I used to always pull more on my left side—it drove me crazy. No matter how much I trained, I couldn’t quite fix it. If you put this next to my old videos, the difference is something I never thought I’d see.

What’s even more meaningful to me is that I haven’t been in the gym nearly as much as I used to be. This didn’t come from chasing strength—it came from riding, from slowing down, from rebuilding my body in a more balanced way over the past year.

Dressage has a way of teaching you things you don’t even realize are translating… until they show up like this.

Balance creates suppleness. And when you have that, everything starts to feel lighter, more connected, and more you ✨🫶🏼
