Sometimes in life you have one of those days…. As in one epic day! That day was today. Words can’t explain the places we saw, the beauty, the peace, the magic, the people….My people! What an incredible evening at The Big Thing at @xoverlandranch !✨A huge thank you to @storytelleroverland for hosting and @fernwehguidedexpeditions for curating such an unforgettable experience.We enjoyed an incredible gourmet dinner by Chef Jesse of @switchbacksupperclub , with a special guest appearance by @gondirtin . Amazing food, great conversations, and even better company.One of the highlights of the night was hearing from @azadventure_ about her work with @treadlightlyteam - an amazing organization dedicated to educating and advocating for responsible off-roading while helping keep our public lands open for future generations.This was a truly incredible group of badass travelers—people who choose to step outside their comfort zones, explore the world, embrace challenges, and build real-life connections along the way.Feeling incredibly grateful for this community and everyone who made the evening so special. On the last evening of the “Big Thing” @xoverlandranch @treadlightlyteam was invited to have dinner with @fernwehguidedexpeditions . Dinner was prepared by @switchbacksupperclub and wow was it amazing. We made new friends, talked about the Tread Lightly! mission and about adventures to come. Thank you @joeld711 for the invite and making us feel like part of the family. Partners like Joel make all the difference and the overland community is a huge supporter of TL! work. Grateful to be a part of this amazing community. by @azadventure_

How do I put 3 weeks of travel into one post?!! So many adventures and experiences! What I can say is that the entire work trip was epic, so good for my son and I to travel alone and boy did we see things!3,644 miles, 22 days, 4 site visits, 2 projects, 50 volunteers, 1 helicopter, 1 event, 1, 16th birthday, 1 national park, snow, rain, 100 degree temps and endless beautiful places and wildlife! Big day for this guy! Today Avery got to hit the training track with an I4WDTA trainer! Tomorrow he does the back 400. How many kids get this kind of training for offroad driving at 16! Can’t wait to see him master this skill!So far 16 has been pretty epic! by @azadventure_

Every once in a while in life you land in a place you know you were meant to be in. I booked this random air bnb in Anaconda,MT to take a break from camping travels. I booked this cabin because it had a last minute cancellation over the 4th of July weekend and everything was packed. We ended up staying longer because they had an opening and it was the best decision ever. Not only did we get to experience Montana’s back woods beauty on this 40 acre off-grid property but we found a family that will be forever friends.They took us on an adventure to a hidden alpine lake, literally like hiking to Narnia! Breathtaking! They had dinner with us, celebrated Avery and exchanged stories over fire. The husband has heavy involvement in the off-road world locally and has specialized equipment to do trail repairs. They have a gun range with 19 lanes for drills and kind hearts that met all of our needs. We truly believe we were meant to land here. What started as a weekend stay turned into 5 days of work and personal connection. It was incredible and we will cherish all of the memories we created with our new friends in this beautiful place. #montana #myheartisfull by @azadventure_

How is my “little” cowboy 16!!! Where does the time go? This kid has a heart of gold and an adventurous soul. From the time he was a tiny boy he’s always lived every moment to the fullest…all in with all the smiles. This kid does it all. Soaking every moment in and building memories this summer because before I know it he will be 18! Today we are going to celebrate with all the things he loves in the woods of Montana! This 4th of July will go down as one of my favorites. No big fireworks show, no crowds, just simple moments tucked in the mountains of Anaconda, Montana! We made friends with the Air bnb host, they have an incredible shooting range, they brought us sodas and cookies, shared the love of offroad and working on trails, just a wonderful family. Sometimes it’s not about all the busy things and it’s about enjoying the space you’re in and the people you’re with. This space is the quintessential American dream! #montana #america250 #montanamountains #familytime by @azadventure_
