Would you take a lake house vs living in the city??

Design By: @azdarchitects

This was an incredible transformation that we got to document. We initially filmed this house back when it was in the middle of construction less than a year ago. This lake house is beautiful and has sunset views while also being right across a golf course ⛳️🏌️‍♀️ Love this Michigan home!! It’s all time

The view is impressive. The house had to be too.

So the design was built around it. Massive windows, open spaces, warm finishes, and a layout that keeps the water and landscape in sight. Nothing competes with the setting, it works with it.

This is what happens when the view becomes part of the design.

Expansive glass keeps the lake in sight from inside, while the pool, fire features, and outdoor spaces create an equally impressive experience outside. And once the sun goes down, the entire property takes on a completely different feel.

The architecture doesn’t stop at the back door.

Expansive walls of glass create a direct connection between the interiors, pool, covered outdoor living, and surrounding landscape. Every space was designed as part of one larger composition, allowing the home to feel open and connected while maintaining distinct places to gather, relax, and entertain.

This is what happens when home becomes your favorite place to be.

A night in can mean the pool, the hot tub, catching the game by the fire, or moving outside without ever really leaving the living space.

Some homes completely change once the sun goes down. The glass, lighting, and open spaces bring this design to life at night, inside and out. One we could keep walking through for hours.

Designed for the view, built for the setting.

This Canada residence brings natural materials, expansive glass, and clean architectural lines together in a home that feels connected to its surroundings. Every angle was considered to frame the landscape while creating an experience that carries seamlessly from inside to out.

Welcome to Industrial Chic on Union Lake, It’s no surprise this one was featured in @archdigest and @mtv Cribs!

With a turtle pond and glass bridge, a firepole, garage doors that open the living spaces to the lake, and even a custom playhouse, this home is full of unexpected details. In fact, this entire home is a playhouse for adults and kids!

Which feature would you want in your own home?

This is what happens when entertainment becomes part of the architecture.

The lakefront setting connects to multiple outdoor gathering spaces, fire features, a full bar, golf simulator, and indoor living areas designed to keep the experience flowing throughout the property.

Every space makes for a home built to be enjoyed during every part of the day.

Behind every custom project is a team turning ideas, measurements, and details into something worth looking at twice.

There’s a lot of work that happens between the early stages and the finished home, and watching it all come together is one of our favorite parts.
