The most impactful moments in my life, and the most influential people I’ve met, all came into my life unexpectedly, out of nowhere.
Yet whenever I become so fixated on making something happen, nothing seems to move.

when we watch a movie, we don’t want to know how it ends from the very beginning. the beauty is in seeing how the story gets there. along the way, we come up with ideas and expectations, but more often than not, the story unfolds in ways we could’ve never predicted.

maybe life is the same,
we spend so much time trying to plan out exactly how we want our lives to unfold.
but I feel like we need to leave room for mystery, leave room for the universe to do it’s thing.

if we hate seeing spoilers of movies, why are we so eager to spoil our own movie, our life?
it’s the most important one we’ll ever see, and we only get to see it once.

just a thought that’s been on my mind lately.
