after delivering clothing to 150 orphans aged 0-6 years in july, donations have slowed to a near halt for stage 2 of the project which will see warm winter clothing sets distributed to another 159 children aged 6-12

our tiny team is working hard to raise the remaining balance so that these sweet children who are waiting for the aziz family to return don’t feel forgotten, but we really need your help.

receiving new clothing offers children in G a rare moment of normalcy and joy. wearing new, clean clothes helps these orphans maintain a sense of dignity amidst ongoing hardship and loss.
and it helps ease the financial stress of their surviving caregivers.

we are so close now to funding the first stage of this project - to deliver clothing sets to 150 orphans aged 0-6 years of age in the Flowers orphans camp in Gaza’s north.

in april 2025, the palestinian central bureau of statistics reported 39,000 orphans. just a year later, in april 2026, the 58,000 threshold was crossed.
The PCBS now describes this situation as the largest orphan crisis in modern history.

the Flowers Orphans camp, an informal camp created by community in the khazandar area in gaza’s north, houses 500 orphaned children aged 0-18.
most of these children arrived to the camp with nothing but what they were wearing. the little clothing these children do have, has worn thin or they have grown and their clothes not longer fit.

From the funds raised at the presentation of “Comics for Palestine” with @oi_ekdoseis_tou_aurio at the social space of @antifasistiki_kinisi_kalamata, as well as from our participation in the bazaar organized by @rednnoir52, the following groups were supported: the food aid groups @wefeedgaza, @save_gaza2, @watermelonsisters24, @freekitchen_gaza, the clothing group @aziz_factory, and the medical team of @dr.ali.dawas.
Part of the proceeds was given to the artists @saraplanet7 and @rawan.a.ms who offered us their designs.

ORPHANS CLOTHING PROJECT

following the aziz family’s recent eid clothing distribution, a camp in gaza’s north, housing 500 orphans aged 1-18, reached out to the aziz family to request clothing sets for these children.

this will be by far the aziz family’s most ambitious project to date.
they have the skills, the determination and the dedication but this project is only possible if we can match their commitment with our own and raise the funds needed

only together can we make it happen.

HOW TO GIVE:

++ due to the size and ambitious nature of this project we are breaking it down into 3 fundraising & delivery stages:

sizes 8, 10 & 12, for children aged 7-12yrs

STAGE 3 - 191 CLOTHING SETS

Today, thank God, we succeeded in bringing joy to the children's faces with the arrival of Eid. We distributed 75 sets of clothes that my family and I sewed in the factory. I hope we can continue doing this، Thank you team@gazanledcsf by @aziz_factory
