Hina and Eri are performers who know each other from their vocal performance program. Eri is very successful thanks to her unique appearance while Hina has struggled to book events.
In this story they both happened to be booked for the same event.

A storyboard assignment that I did in 2 weeks while studying and emulating the style of director Chris Williams (Big Hero 6, The Sea Beast)

heres a redraw of my first official story sequence’s character that I did last year. (swipe to see the old version)

i realized that characters are almost as important as story.. if the character does not appeal to me I likely won’t give the story a chance.. so I hope to continue to improve at developing characters
