the love i have for this place gets deeper and deeper every year. going on year 3 of having this opportunity, every year gets better than the last. this summer will truly hold a deep place in my heart and im so thankful to all of the athletes and coaches who not only push me better in this sport, but also as a person. until next summer !!

when i think about what this program means to me i think about a lot of things. i think about the memories that i’ve been allowed to have here over the course of the 3 years i’ve been at this program. but mostly i think about the lessons. coming back to 3rd year, was truly because i felt like i didn’t finish my time here at the valley, it felt unfinished. throughout this last semester i’ve not only learned so much about life, but about my myself. i met so may individuals who i truly believe that i needed to meet, and the universe just aligned our lives perfectly because it knew that something was missing in my life. but most of all, this year showed me just how happy and precious life truly is. how every moment here whether it was happy or sad, i get to live this life with my ccfc. when i think about these 4 letters and all of the rookies that got it this year, it makes me want to cry every time. because every time i think about it i think about another person loving this place as much as i do.

to my littles : every single one of you have shaped me into the young woman i am today, the 4 of you each represent a different part of me and im so happy that the universe decided that it was time that the invisible string was brought together. no matter what, no matter where i will always be y’all’s biggest fans.

to my 3rd year class : coming back and ending it all with you will be something i appreciate more than anything in the world. we did it. together. and watching you all take that bandshell for the last time on the same team was an honor. this group of athletes was some of the most deserving, hardworking athletes and i’m so glad to have grown up with yall over the past 3 years. yall will always have a special place in my heart.

to smarge : this last week that we spent together is something i can’t explain. seeing the hard work and determination of a team of all rookies who love cheerleading truly reminded me of my love for this sport. taking the bandshell with yall for my last time in a valley uniform will be something i will cherish forever. i am proud of each and every one of you, and i would do it all over in a heartbeat. i love you guys so much. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ by @azzahenryy
