I just love this "free" chart called the Rose Sampler. I'm stitching on 40 count Solitude Serenity by Count on Linens with Roxy Floss Demerara.

I was so surprised to see how perfectly it matches the beautiful Bible my daughter gifted me for my birthday.

Finished Christmas Garden last night. I love it even more after adding my grandchildren’s initials. (They mean the world to me!🤍) So much love and prayer went into this as I remembered all the Christmases that have gone before. Thank you Lord for the wonder and majesty of the gift of Your son Jesus! ✝️

My first 2 Blackbird Academy challenges are complete. Now to find a pumpkin for October. 😁

This is my Blackbird Acedemy choice for the first 2 months. So far it has met the requirements for both months, I just haven’t gotten to the words yet. It has been a joy to stitch. I’m using Thornfield by Needle and Flax in 40 count with Colour and Cotton Floss, colors: Fig Medium, Sugar Cookie Court, Woodchip and Trellis. #blackbirdacademy by @b.a.blessingstitcher

Block #5 in the ATB Mystery SAL by Teresa Kogut finished! I changed up the colors a bit but using primarly DMC on Blarney Stone 40 count by Colour and Cotton. This one was pretty stitch heavy but so happy to have it done before September when the next block comes out.

Sorry I’ve been MIA lately but I broke my leg in early July and can’t get to my props for taking pretty pictures right now. I’m down to 3 weeks more of non weight bearing and then hopefully just a couple of weeks of partial weight bearing. It’s been a really long journey! (I am a home body but this is ridiculous! 🤣)

Hoping to be able to get a new video out once I’m mobile again. Thanks for all the kind get well wishes! Hugs and blessings on your coming week!

ATB SAL by Teresa Kogut. This is block 4 - done. I haven't cared for the red letters so have been changing a few colors around but still using all the called for colors in the chart. Stitching on Blarney Stone 40 count by Colour and Cotton. I've really been enjoying this SAL. Available through her tier 4 Patreon group. by @b.a.blessingstitcher

$Humpty Dumpty had a great fall! I took a tumble a week ago which left me with multiple fractures in my knee and lower leg (tibia). While I have some unexpected stitching time I also have many new challenges ahead. Plans: surgery -no weight bearing for 8-12 weeks - working from home, being very dependent on others. (All areas that give me anxiety!) But... I’m trusting that God will use this somehow for my good and His glory as I know from experience that He doesn’t waste anything!🤍 So grateful that He will always be there with me, walking me thru this new difficult season. I have amazing children and friends! Don’t know what I’d do without them! Been working on what I can reach which is Teresa Kogut's ATB SAL - this is my progress on the 4th block. by @b.a.blessingstitcher$

I was able to finish America the Beautiful by Blackbird Designs. I started this over a year ago and am so happy to have it done before the 4th.

Used the called for floss (a mix of overdyeds and DMC) on Patriot's Brew on 40 count.

Unfortunately this is an out of print chart but it is available occasionally on the secondary market. by @b.a.blessingstitcher

I finished America by Blackbird Designs just in time! Any suggestions for an FFO?

I stitched this on Natural Raw linen in 36 count with all the called for DMC - stitched 1 over 2. I chose not to stitch the background or the word America at the bottom.

Unfortunately this is an out of print chart but I was able to borrow it from Patricia Geary in Fans of Blackbird Designs Facebook group.
You will need to pay shipping both ways and she will give you 2 months to complete it. She only asks that you make a working copy, which needs to be deleted/destroyed once you’ve completed it, and post a picture of the finish to the FB group.
She has allowed me to do this with a couple of out of print charts and I’m so grateful to have this option available to us. by @b.a.blessingstitcher

This was my FFO vision for Spring Delivery once I realized I had made it smaller than originally planned.

I added lots of interfacing to both the stitched piece and the backing fabric to make it stand up and put chenille-it around the edge and frayed all 3 layers.

I totally enjoyed this stitch even though I forgot to check the called for fabric and ended up with a mini version of it.
