Finally got around to sending my car over to @ab_autoworks for some much need maintenance. Sent the car over to do valve stem seals in hopes of fixing an oil burning issue along with a valve adjustment and a freshly coated AP2 valve cover. Threw on new Fortune Auto 510 coilovers, Spoon bushings and J's/Hardrace ball joints on all upper and lower corners, Karcepts rear hubs, Spoon rigid bushings for the steering rack, new inner and outer tie rods, and EVS axle spacers. Normally I would attempt to do most of these things myself but having a newborn has limited my time on working on cars and my itch to get this on the road again was going crazy. Thankfully @ab_autoworks was able to take on such a big job. Both Aaron and @scholtz666 were keeping me updated on what was being done and explained a bit of how the parts work with each other. Tim was able to dial in my fitment and sit my car perfectly to how I've been wanting to see it. Unfortunately I already buckled my front fender getting into my driveway ๐Ÿ˜ญ Next step is a proper alignment, maybe some bodywork again since the car got a good amount of damage from driving it from Chicago to CA, and then start cleaning up my engine bay a little more. Excited to drive this thing again and move forward with the project! by @b.a.s_crew
Wekfest Chicago 2026, Great show, good hangs with the homies. This time around @wekfest_usa decided to give us a diffrent date instead of the spring and we got a beautiful day ๐ŸŒž. We had a 12 car solid line up even though we were missing a few. Some of us took some hardware home and manage to get 2nd place team. Shout out to everyone that has supported us. Till next year ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ by @b.a.s_crew
Gotta always give love to these guys who are a close knit group of fuckheads. Even though some were missing this year, their builds have been incredible from the start. I am biased at this point and I couldn't really care. From @rosendo_t99's ITB and incredible engine bay, @eliodorito's turbo EG that he keeps fucking around with, @4door_guy's Spoon build that deserves so much love that it definitely deserves another post lol. Clean cars. Cooler guys. You 12 bro? Miss you bbs @aaron_dc2 @mkv.jose. . . . Evoke Emotion . . . #teamdrivn #teamfullydrivn #BAS #jdm #wekfest by @b.a.s_crew
What an awesome weekend, shoutout to @kennydrivesasubie for offering to drive his wrx to @wekfest_usa. Always a vibe hanging out with @b.a.s_crew. Definitely got some motivation to start messing with the TLX, Hopefully next year I can attend with my own ride! by @b.a.s_crew
Loving the new setup. Still have some things to button up but I canโ€™t believe how much the car has changed! Thank you to everyone that complimented and showed love to the car I appreciate everyone of you ๐Ÿ™ by @b.a.s_crew
Even though the crew was smaller for Tuner Evo. They still bring out heaters every year. You always notice different changes from their builds to keep things fresh. Peep them at full power at Wekfest this Sunday. @b.a.s_crew . . . Evoke Emotion I miss u bbs @aaron_dc2 @mkv.jose . . . #teamdrivn #teamfullydrivn #jdm #cars #horny by @b.a.s_crew
