From our cover of Danny Barker’s Palm Court Strut - this was from the top of Church Street in Burlington for @discoverjazzfestival back in June. The power of music stopped the rain (I’d like to think).

A quick 12 or so on a slow blues, getting used to the reverb on this rig. Still can’t get over how obsessed with it I am.

A little bit of Little Richard to start the week off - playing through my new setup 😇 1969 Bandmaster Reverb 40W head through a 1968/69 2x12 cab. I’m in love.

Plenty of gigs coming up for @allnightboogieband - check it out on allnightboogieband.com

Hand is too damn big to hit that 2nd octave but YOLO - some Open E slide on Dust My Broom from the 4th. Need to practice. Also unfortunate my new boots got cut off in the video.

‘SHUT YOUR EYES AND SEE’ is out now!!! Our third LP and by far our most complete (and best lol). As a songwriter, feel like I’m getting the hang of it. Lots of variety here, blending genres - a purists nightmare but fuck it, I’m writing what I feel. I’m so damn proud of this band, we work so hard - thanks for putting up with my shit - but we sound so fucking good. This is our year. Big thanks to Ezra for seeing the vision and crushing it, to Calvin for keeping team morale high, to Lane for the perfect mastering job, to Ali for joining us on “Spirits High” and making that shit ethereal, to Sam, Jon, and Avery for knocking it out of the park as always (and Connor on that live track), and to Dave for the liner notes in the vinyl copies. And a massive thanks to our fans for lighting up the gofundme. We literally cannot do any of this without you. It’s humbling and makes us feel so loved. Hope I’m not forgetting anyone.

Had a rough time a year and a half ago and these songs I wrote make more sense and mean so much more to me now than ever. Give them a listen for me. You’ll dig it. by @b.casey21

Little clip from our show in Asheville this past April. One of my favorite hymns and one of my favorite melodies coming out of a little jam - something about playing it in Appalachia felt right.

Always gotta bring it back down to earth. Also think the Les Paul looks pretty here in the sun.
