I’m thrilled that months of work with the @uk.caa has paid off, with our new Operational Authorisation permitting sub-250g outdoor drone flights over crowds - coupled with our existing extended OA permitting drone flights to 1,000 feet height instead of the usual 400 feet, this literally transforms our offering to clients.

Our new OA is the first of its kind to be issued in the UK, & covers @dji Mini drones as well as FPV, so we’re able to achieve shots we could only dream about during the @oasis tour last year, & now possible as part of our work with @celestial_drones filming their drone displays.

An exciting summer ahead, in stadiums & at outdoor music festivals & events, in addition to our usual film, TV & infrastructure work :) by @b.godlingtondrones

@celestial_drones ready for take-off - @bgt semi final at @oldroyalnavalcollege in Greenwich. Always a pleasure & privilege to work with Celestial - last night’s filming drone team comprised myself flying a #djiinspire3 with @b.godlingtondrones flying a #iflightnazgul5 FPV & @trottmiles flying a #djimavic4pro. An additional #djimavic4pro was locked off & provided safety coverage of the show. by @b.godlingtondrones
