This is what I love about doing leatherwork.
Taking my time with every little detail and watching it all slowly come together.

When I make a custom order, I try to build it as if I were making it for myself. I think about the person behind it. Who are they? Where will they use it? Does it need to be strong enough for everyday life around horses? What colours and details feel like them?

I don’t just want to make something beautiful. I want to make something personal. Something that feels so right for that person that when someone sees them wearing it, they say:
“That is so you.”

Eline’s custom piece isn’t finished yet, but seeing all those little details come alive with the antique… 🥹🌸🐴

When you have 827 things to do but unfortunately you’re also the business owner 😂

Still adding shit to tomorrow’s to-do list because I WILL forget it otherwise? 100%.

Apparently the breakdown can wait, but the orders can’t 😂

Running a small business is basically:
“I can’t keep up”
opens notes:
“Okay but tomorrow I really need to order more hardware.”

There’s a little more behind this stamp than just a name.

B. Leatherwork started with me simply wanting to make things with my own hands. No big business plan, no fancy workshop, just leather, tools and a ridiculous amount of trial and error.

Somewhere along the way, it became more than a hobby. 😜

I fell in love with taking a plain piece of leather and turning it into something that has character. Something made for one person, one horse, one story.

I’m still learning with every piece I make. I still mess things up, change my mind halfway through and probably spend way too many hours obsessing over tiny details nobody else will ever notice. 😂

But seeing B. Leatherwork stamped into a finished piece still feels pretty damn cool.✌️🔥 by @b.leatherwork.co

Every piece is designed, drawn, carved, tooled, dyed and stitched completely by hand. There are no shortcuts and no mass production. Just real craftsmanship and attention to every detail.

This is something I work on in between everyday life.

I run this as a small side business, and I make these pieces in the moments I can, simply because I love the process. This is a custom wallet, still in the making, and I wanted to give you a small preview of how it comes together.

This is my very first wallet.
Every part of it is made by hand in my workshop: cut, measured, and (hand)stitched slowly, one step at a time.

I’m learning as I go, and I’m proud of what I can create with my own hands.
