Originally from Portsmouth, UK, DJ and producer Brad has been based in Melbourne/Naarm for the past two years. In that time, he’s been steadily climbing the ranks and appearing on an increasing number of lineups across the city supporting some of Naarms finest.

Earthcast is back after a short hiatus, We will now be showcasing Artists and friends monthly who inspire us or who’ve we met along the way in this journey we call music.

002 is brought to you by Brad Kind aka @b.sides____ Originally from Portsmouth (Uk) he now reside in Melbourne (Aus) and is slowly but surely making waves through his own productions and Dj sets in Europe and down under.

Brads eclectic taste in the electronic house and techno sub genres is evident in this one, fluttering on the edges of more dynamic sounds found in acid and electro he intrinsically inter-weaves groovier breakbeats with no holding back in this power hour story.

Brads perhaps better known online for his stand out productions and self releases on Bandcamp that have gained traction over recent years with releases like Andys Orbit and 5th Orbit. Both have achieved support all over the world from the likes of Truly Madly, Bonus Dub, Blurd Prague, Jamie Leather, IN-FJ and many more.

His next release “Jetstart” is out in June on London Label @subterrainrecords . (Check it!)

Brad is also doing his bit for the community running a YouTube channel ‘ParkerSchnabel’s Sauce” which he uses as a platform to test and promote unreleased tracks from friends and talent whilst also sharing some of his own productions. Originally from the South Coast of England, Brad recently relocated to Melbourne, bringing his record collection with him. In 2025, he debuted with a four-track release, Jetstart, on the London-based label Subterrain, alongside numerous singles available on his own Bandcamp.

In 26’ brad’s started his own events series and collective “Chapters” focusing on the storyteller side of djing, showcasing many local selectors that don’t often get the set time they deserve. With a strong passion for creativity and exploration, remaining unbound by any single genre, Brad celebrates freedom in its most organic form, often seamlessly bouncing between off-kilter house, techno, breaks, electro, and everything in between. His dedication to unearthing the hidden gems of underground electronic music is evident in his dj sets often leaving people wondering for track ids.

With inspiration from places such as Houghton (UK) and Phonoteque (Uruguay) his sets often dance on the darker side of the spectrum. Brad is also doing his bit for the community running a YouTube Channel ParkerSchnabel’s Sauce” which he uses as a platform to test and promote unreleased tracks from friends and talent, whilst also sharing some of his own productions.

Artist spotlight for tonight! Our selectors are taking over the front bar at Killing time for another chapter of intimate storytelling.

Alex Cavallaro (Harmonics)

Alex is a dedicated digger, with a love trawling through bargain bins in search of hidden gems. A lover of the deep, stripped-back sounds of the 90s and 00s, his cheeky demeanour and careful selection is like no other.

Rondel (Mudbrain)

DJ Rondel is a DJ and avid Record Collecter from London, expect anything from stripped back minimal, to wiggy electro to UKG. Head huncho of the wicked Mudbrain records.

Mas Kato (Tokyo Love Hotel)

Mas Kato is an Indonesian-born artist, based in Melbourne/Naarm. Known for his work with Tokyo Love Hotel, hosting international artists and collaborating with promoters and venues both in Australia and internationally.

B.sides (Chapters)

A passionate digger and producer hailing from the UK. Brad shares his own personal interpretations of the history of electronic dance music. Blending new with old and unbound by any single genre, celebrating freedom in its purest form.
With great success after his first release on London Label Subterrain, Brad also has lots of vinyl and digital releases in the pipeline for 2026.

Schnill (Outre)

Schnill is a DJ focused on underground club sounds, playing a mix of old-school sounding tech house and electro.
