It’s been a minute since I’ve posted anything, but this one felt worth sharing.✨Sundaze is the first short film in my new series Divine Epiphany. It’s a visual love letter to my higher self, inspired by my thoughts, conversations, what I want my future to look like, and the spiritual downloads I’ve been catching lately.I’ve always loved tech, animation, poetry, and storytelling, and somehow all those pieces found their way into this project. I recorded myself performing the poetry you’ll hear throughout the film, aligning the words with the visuals the way I felt them in real time. (P.s. Autotune is kind of fun to learn lol)This project means a lot to me. It’s my first time exploring this kind of medium, blending poetry, animation, and film. I’m still learning as I go, figuring out how to bring the ideas in my head to life. There is nothing scarier than the feeling of the funk within you! Hey big heads, stopping by to say hello 🥰Yall, real life has been a rollercoaster lately. I’ve literally been experiencing every twist and turn of it. If anyone hasn’t told you already, going through an EGO DEATH is real. ❗️I’ve been grieving old versions of myself. Fighting for this “ideal” version of who I should be. Battling low self self esteem. Wanted to give up and also gave up in certain moments. But im so tired of fighting yall and Im realizing that everything doesn’t have to be a battle.
