it’s men’s mental health awareness month. I want to encourage men to feel and express themselves in ways that are meaningful. music is my outlet. what’s yours?

This project is a reflection of my process of grieving a failed relationship. a failed marriage. these words all come from a real place and express different parts of the process ending with a reflection & acceptance. as you read these lyric and listen to the music I hope that it will encourage you to heal and do your own processing.

since 2016 and beyond I’ve wrestled with my music. I didn’t like anything I created because I constantly compared myself to others. Over these past 8 yrs since I’ve created a bunch of music but never released it out of fear of being rejected. I’ve decided that it’s time just to say fuck it like I didn’t back in 2016! On that mentality got me to the point where I am now. So here goes! No more excuses. I finally found a name for my music company that fits my music and my passion (I’ll announce that later) I apologize to everyone who’s wanted to work with me over the yrs and I didn’t follow through and I apologize to my supports who have rock with me from day one and still ask for music and those who still haven’t lost faith in the talent that’s truly hard for me to see. Here we go! I’ve given myself a head start on creating an album & releasing it before the end of 2025! Not sure how I’ll get this done with grad school and fatherhood though I know I’m crazy enough to make it happen regardless lol

Superego is a special concept for me because it highlights the start of my journey in psychology. Year ago I started school at Claflin University and I’ve learn so much about myself. Psychology has always been a love of mine and to be able to incorporate ideas within my music has help me to express things I couldn’t not before. Each song highlights aspects that I feel relate to many of the struggles we find ourselves in with love & relationships thought this is only the beginning….I hope you will continue to follow me down this psychological rabbit hole and find clearly & meaning in your own situations from listening to this music.
