Big love to @silkroaddjs πŸ’› They brought Back2Bassics in for a @caravanseattle takeover back in March, and we're grateful to have connected with a crew doing their thing for the scene. Their track selection is always on point, and their production and DJing speak for themselves πŸ™Œ "Explore the world with Yelda and Biplov – an Afghan and Nepalese DJ duo sharing global beatsΒ  on the dance floor. Together they ignite a vision of global connection inspired by the true-life historic Silk Road. Their musical diversity of light and dark energy combines forces and creates the magic of TheΒ  Silk Road - a journey that showcases instruments and languages from across the world in anΒ  effort to spark cultural curiosity and inclusivity. Their movement has already taken Seattle by storm, embodied in the creation of CARAVANβ„’ – an open format, monthly world music event showcasing both novice and veteran Artists.Β Β TSR has been thrilled to play support for incredible Artists such as DJ Habibeats, Beats Antique, YungΒ  Singh, Handsome Tiger, Attya, Papadosio, Random Rab, Moontricks, Morillo, Desert Dwellers, and Etran de L’AΓ―r. NotableΒ  festivals include Shambhala, Bass Coast, Future Forest, Global Heat and APOG. Whether at a music festival, local venues or on the air, TSR seeks to bring people together byΒ  celebrating what makes them culturally unique and inviting them to join the Shawlgang." @grippasounds has been showing up and showing love for our events for years now πŸ’› Always pulling up and supporting the scene and holding it down with those late night open decks during our early days πŸ”Š Always excited to see what he pulls out of his bag next, we already know he's bringing some heat πŸ”₯ "Originally from Alabama, DJ/Producer Grippa relocated to Washington to explore a more diverse music scene and to perfect his own sound design. Since relocating, he quickly became a rising star in the PNW electronic music landscape. With a passion for creating immersive experiences, he naturally captivates audiences with his unique original tracks, blending elements from genres like 140, experimental bass, and sounds from the leftfield. Grippa's dark, earthy mixes and infectious energy will grip you in ways you have never been gripped before. Grippa is a community favorite, known for his strong support in the Seattle underground scene and for bringing the heat behind the decks." Next up for local support we got Back2Bassics crew member @dextresse_b2b πŸ™Œ "Seattle based DJ and Back2Bassics crew member Dextresse brings a deep bass heavy sound rooted in 140 deep dubstep, with lots of influences from hip-hop and rap. Known for heavy thumping low end and a growing curiosity for wave, trap, and breaks, Dextresse moves between deep cuts and selections built for the underground. With support slots for Shlump, WhatSoNot, and Onhell, Dextresse continues to carve out their place in Seattle’s bass music scene, one-handed on the decks, no less ;)" BACK2BASSICS presents// πŸ”Š DIE BY THE SWORD & ATEK πŸ”Š Oct 17th Private event 🀫 Check our story highlight for 🎟️ info! 21+ πŸ“·: @zelingerphotography by @b2b.sea
Back with us for another round πŸ™Œ UNDERSTUHD played for us back when B2B was just getting started so we're excited have him back on the lineup for this one πŸ”₯ "UNDERSTUHD is a selector shaped by years of digging. Sound system culture is at the heart of what we do πŸ’› So we’re honored to bring a selector like @atek_music to Seattle! His deep appreciation for the music, the culture, and the art of selection reflects what B2B is all about 😎 "Atek has been a steadily emerging face among the dubstep scene. Colorado Local, Cruz Martel is educating clubs with colorful blends showcasing a deep dive into new and old tunes. Atek has gained a close following for his ability to hold the crowd's attention with exclusive sounds that span the range of dub, grime, garage and of course dubstep. With a great appreciation for the history of sound system music he looks to be the new face of the selector culture here in the states." We are freaking stoked to be bringing @dbtsbass to our underground community in Seattle πŸ™ Die By The Sword has been on our radar for a long time, and bringing his sound feels like such a special fit for this one πŸ”₯ "Hailing from Chicago and residing in Colorado, lifelong multi-instrumentalist turned Producer/DJ, Connor Cogswell debuted Die By The Sword in 2019 and has proved he is here to stay. With support from his biggest influences like Caspa, Truth, and J:Kenzo, DBTS has earned several accolades such as numerous spots on the Beatport Top 100 Tracks for 140 / Deep Dubstep / Grime, being billed alongside legendary DJs such as NERO, Of The Trees, The Widdler, and playing renown US venues and festivals such as Meow Wolf Denver, Infrasound Music Festival, Sound Haven Music Festival, and The Black Box."
