2025 is the year I pushed myself the hardest. To truly build the foundations of the person I’m meant to be. After nearly 6 full years without a home {and none in sight}, I have managed to find my roots (within) and have even sewn some real seeds. I’m doing/being/am more than I ever dreamed possible. Back in 2024, I stepped firmly on the path. Then 2025 taught me how to jog. 2026? Oh, we’re running, baby! From the beaches of Kenya to the beaches of Thailand, this year I: 🇰🇪 explored 7 different regions of Kenya over 4 months 🗽worked in NYC for 2 months on a dream project 🇯🇵 discovered 6 cities in one of the hottest countries for tourism {Japan} over 4 months 🇰🇷 hunkered down for a month in S Korea 🇹🇭 trained in paradise {Thailand} for 2 months (I know that equals 13 months but this is rough math and time is relative anyway) I also: 💯 hit 92.6% of my business goals {fueling me to go harder this year} 🦅 saw 86 new lifers {yes, as in birds} 🤩 🥊 picked up a new sport 💀had a freak encounter w 🪦 📖 wrote and self-published my first book 👫👬👭met even more incredible people 🧳started carrying TWO suitcases 🛌 slept in 47 different accommodations Honestly, what a freakin year. 🥳 And as I head into the year I turn 30, I’m proud, grateful, and continuously excited about what comes next. It includes a lot of giving back and building others, so that more doors and dreams can be unlocked for them. And I mean that in a global way— Through my book and work, I’m teaching successful adults in the west what rest, renewal, reinvention, and reintegration can do for their life’s path. Through my business, I’ll be continuing to support organizations I believe in around the world. Through my life, I will continue to be my authentic self who shows up for people around me with everything I have. And I’ll just keep climbing up this ladder of life with my bottomless pot of love on my back. Here, have a sprinkle✨ and come along. To 2025 🥂 To being a Human on Earth 🥂 To the mysteries that still exist 🥂 and To all the life that follows us from here 🥂 by @b_adventuras

Today’s lesson from a life lived awake: magic has a way of finding you when you surrender to the greater forces at play. In practice, that means giving yourself structure to fall back on but leaving plenty of space for spontaneous adventures. You never know who you’re going to meet on the road. If you’re open to seeing how those unexpected people can shape your life and flexible enough to see it through, you will find yourself on ‘side quests’ that will certainly change your life. After 6.5 years on the road, I’ve experienced it countless times and continue to be exactly where I’m meant to be even though I had no idea it was where I was going. Here it is: the framework you don’t realize you need until it’s too late. There are so many professionals helping you take a sabbatical. They walk you through how to talk to your employer, how to set up your financial runway, and how to have the courage to take the time off. That’s not what this book is. The dream you’re sold is: take a break, buy a one-way plane ticket, and the rest will figure itself out. But what does ‘figure itself out’ actually look like?? What actually needs to happen during that time off so that you can come home feeling like it wasn’t just a long, expensive vacation? My book is here to tell you. I’ve been traveling the world since before the covid pandemic, and supporting sabbatical takers as a professional travel advisor and long-term travel coach for the majority of that time. What I found is that travel alone doesn’t do the trick. You need intention, you need well-roundedness, and you need structure (mixed with a healthy dose of spontaneity). Way too many wonderful people not pictured or tagged - I tend to record when I’m alone and stay present when I’m with others. Great for connection, terrible for highlight reels. Anyway, despite my time here being cut short, this environment gave me such a great opportunity to learn, burn (calories), and earn in whole new ways; truly accelerating my life as an entrepreneur and human participate in a global society. And of course, the best part will always be the people. Grateful for everyone who shared their time and knowledge with me.
