Ah, the powerful message that comes with a Hawk sighting! In some areas of the world this is a common occurance but when you're walking your dog down a street in the North Side of Chicago and a Hawk swoops down just a few feet in front of you, you can't really chalk that up as a coincidence.

What's even more interesting is that my mom had just recently shared with me that she saw some major Hawk sightings recently followed by a big revelation in her personal life. Hawks are powerful, and they normal hide up high while they scope out their prey, so if you see them, up close, you can be sure there is a message to come with it.

I feel so honored that animals speak so loudly to me, I truly couldn't imagine having this happen and just continuing on my walk as if it were nothing. In fact, I called out to 2 other people walking near by for them to see it and they couldn't have cared less (another sign that this moment was just for me).

The passage is from an oracle card deck that @jkultra_jenn recently pulled on election night. Big things are coming, and I'm watching for it. Victory is mine.

Whew #cicada season is almost over but first, a gift from the uni! So amazing to see this one fresh out of its under ground body. They climb from several feet underground up to a place where they can latch on and then pop out of their shell. They they need to hang for hours until their wings are dry enough to fly off 😍😍.

Such strength!

This morning I took Mona on a long walk.

I set the intention to connect deeper with my soul self and nature today. I was allowing my thoughts to flow out as quickly as they flowed in. I went to the river to sit and allow the stagnant energy in my field to wash away and feel the rush of what's coming in. Just sitting, and allowing.

On my way home my neighbor, who has an amazing yard filled with so many #flowers of all kinds, stopped me and invited me into her back yard to see the butterflies. She said she knows I'm a big nature fan and I had to see what's going on back there.

She had some giant lilac bushes (my favorite) and so so so many #butterflies! I felt my heart open so wide as I told her about the home I grew up in that had a giant lilac bush and how butterflies make me think of my dad. I cried so hard, it was such a beautiful moment, I had to share.

What signs do you see most that you KNOW are your loved ones in spirit coming to visit?

These butterflies came through with a potent message today. They've been surrounding since the eclipse yesterday. A visual representation of what I've been calling in. Growth. Transformation, Divine Union, Persistence, Perseverance. They show the beauty that comes from deep stillness with self, something ive been called to do a lot of and have a lot more to do. What a beautiful reflection. These butterflies flew around me like a mini tornado at the beginning of my walk today and continued to follow me for 2 miles! From home and back! They made sure I saw them and that I listened for their messages. My day was tough and emotional today. Like many others, the energy has been HEAVY. We are all moving through a lot. We have a new moon, mercury retrograde, AND the eclipse all happening in the same time frame. This is a powerful, potent time to be alive and awake. I feel raw and new and reborn today and I'm treating myself as such. I'll be taking it EXTRA easy this week as I integrate into this new chapter of my life, embracing whatever is coming, and allowing what doesn't need to come with me to fall away with ease. I have so much gratitude for the amazing friendships I have with people who can hold space for me when I need it and lift me up when I'm down. As someone who holds space for others. It isn't always easy for me to switch up that role, I'm still planning how to receive and that I'm inherently worthy of it. Whew!
Did the eclipse energy feel powerful to you? Please share with me what you felt. For me, there was this buuld of anticipation but also so much uneasy energy then it was met with like pure bliss and love. It was a child like energy. Such an amazing moment!

Breathe it in, let it go. Turn on the drains below your feet and stand in the grass and just breathe. We are meant to have a connection with the earth. Believe it or not, there are PLENTY of spaces in Chicago to be with nature. Where is your favorite space? This one is right by a little park in #lincolnsquare near the #chicagoriver

Everyone talks about needing to "let go of the outcome" when you're manifesting but then they also talk about visualizing what you want. To me that's a little hard to grasp... wHaT DoEs iT EvEn MeAn 🥴

The truth is there are so many techniques you can use to manifest and everyone has something that works best for them. Today I chose to use intention setting and letting go of the outcome. I took some deep breaths to myself and stated that I wanted to experience the most benevolent outcome of my day today and that I'd like to go thrifting maybe.

I told myself late last night though that I didn't really want to go out and about this Sunday and I really just wanted to have a chill day. I obviously consciously forgot about that intention that I technically set first, but the uni didn't! On my walk I stumbled upon a neighbor handing out some free stuff, BOOKS! Books are my favorite thing to thrift. I literally manifested an effortless thrift opportunity. This is the second time I've done this, almost exact same scenario, the manifestation comes in a totally unexpected way.

Messages from a Hawk.

Listen, you don't have to live in the country to connect with nature. I live in a major city and nature finds a way to communicate with me. Get out, walk, listen... deeply. This hawk called out to ME, or I would have never seen it all the way up there. The more I watched, the more I was able to listen and hear the messages from this wise soul and I had to share 💗.
