➡️ Extensions extend the filing deadline, not the payment deadline.

➡️ State deadlines may differ from federal deadlines.

Also, Jan 15, 2027 is the Final 2026 estimated tax payment date for 4th quarter (individuals & corps)

Anddd I’m BACK‼️🚨TAX SEASON 2026🚨

➖ The IRS start accepting returns 1/19/26. The first round of refunds are “expected” to drop on 2/6/26

➖ Refunds ARE expected to be a little higher than years prior because of new deductions and credits, thanks to the Big.Beautiful Tax Bill

➖If you’re claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), your refund will be held until at least February 15, 2026 due to the PATH Act.

➖The IRS is no longer issuing paper checks‼️Open a bank account or a prepaid card!

If you still haven’t filed, the IRS can assess a penalty of 5% of the tax year you owe each month, up to 25%! And that’s not including the interest that’ll start accruing too. 😵‍💫 by @b_davisaccounting
