4 years of wonderful marriage to my sweet Caroline! The culmination of our year is always on this island, where Jesus becomes living and breathing in the rooms where we sit in the word for long hours, God’s grandeur is on display through the ocean and natural beauty, and Holy Spirit sparks alive in hearts and minds.

Thank you for the faith of everybody who came, knowing or not what this time would produce. Jesus responds to that faith and I am sure you felt that this week. Heaven on earth! by @b_fec34

“Natural Revelation: God’s self disclosure in creation, through all things that have been made.”

Growing up Christian, my ears have heard much about God through song, sermons, books, mentors and more. As helpful that all that I’ve received is, often it is in silence that the profound nature of God has become a lived reality. From Redondo beach in Washington, the island of Ahousaht in Canada, to the mountains of Utah, God’s law has run through my heart like a river, slowly but surely starting to carve out a canyon (that still has a long way to go). He is eroding pride, anxiety, selfishness, insecurities while imprinting purpose, clarity and peace in these quiet places. Jesus has shown me much about himself from rivers, ecosystems and lonely mountains.

Today I have released a 3 song EP that is my expression of gratitude and love and experience with God in nature. Each song is born out of a piece of nature that God has used to move me - the strong and faithful Evergreens from my home, the bodies of water I’ve found wherever I move & finally a poem of gratitude for the delicate balance the world is held in.
