Sitting in a corner I haunt looking at these amazing photos from Ignite. This routine marked a lot of firsts for me: first solo, first hoop routine, first Ignite competition and I'm just proud of myself for trying something way out of my comfort zone.
Thank you to @lifeispole for saying "hey you should do Ignite" and to @mjnolan.creative and @calyssaunicorn who helped me find exits when I choreographed myself into a hole ❤️
Thank you to @alicia_llama who listened, filmed and basically costumed me when my first outfit didn't work. ❤️
Massive thank you to @dawntoduskpole for thinking of tricks for my routine, to listening to me stress about my first solo comp and absolutely everything in between. It was never about competing against each other and always about doing cool shit in a hoop. ❤️
And finally a huge thank you to @danger_prone_gorey your unwavering love and support of my endless dancing ideas is unmatched and I'm so lucky to have married my number 1 fan ❤️ thank you also for not just supporting me but the entire studio, whether that's cheering for every competitor especiallythe ones who had no one in the audience, making tables that can be stood on but also look old (IYKYK) or packing chairs at the end of the comp you truly are the #1 pole husband. ❤️

✨ Meet the Sweetheart of Our Studio: Britt ✨

Our newest instructor Britt 💜 has been doing aerials for more years than we can all count and joined the pole world at the end of last year to challenge herself !

She brings such a warm, welcoming energy to every class, always approaching everything with a smile and making every student feel seen and supported. Britt is incredibly attentive, taking the time to help each person grow and feel confident in their movement ✨

Fun fact… she’s obsessed with horror books 👀 but don’t let that fool you — she’s the absolute biggest sweetheart 💕

Follow her journey: @b_g_aerials

Instructing my first Physidance completed ✅️ the slowest and flowiest routine I've ever created. This routine is not my normal style but its cool to see the progress I've made since the last time I created a slow routine. Thanks to @will.tayl21 @alicia_llama @taylorrclare_pole and @lifeispole for joining me for my first Physidance, you were all amazing!

5 years ago today (roughly) I nervously stepped into my first hoop class at @physipolesalisbury. I'd been at the studio about 8 weeks attempting pole which was not going well 🤣 but jumping into a hoop that first day hit different and I've never looked back. So happy hoopaversary to the apparatus that changed everything! Oh and thanks to @mjnolan.creative for letting me hang out with Percy (the lyra)! #physipolesalisbury #hoop #lyra #anniversary taken in PhysiPole Studios Salisbury by @b_g_aerials
