"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only few find it."

Another week in the books. Another step forward. Another brick in the wall.

Onward 🫡 by @b_moveswell

Running isn't always pretty, but sometimes it is especially beautiful.

Blessed to be able to move my body as an act of worship in HIS presence.

Race recap (the brief version).

What went right:
- Increasing effort in the right sections of the course (mi 3-6 and 18-21).
- Letting the course do the work on the back half.
- Aid stops were fast and calculated.
- Only lost one position throughout the race. F1 @stephsrunspiration passed me with 5mi. to go like I was standing still. And she was singing!
- 14min. course PR and 3rd male.

What went wrong:
- Over salted, which led to stomach cramping with 6 miles left. 1L of flat water cured that up fairly quickly, but then I was out of water and cramped the last mile.
- Nip tape must have fallen off early because we be chafin'!

Overall:
- Thankful for another effort finished.
- More lessons learned for the next one.

Another solid week of training in the books.

Jumping into the local 50k this weekend to see if I can chase another course PR and nab a spot on the podium. 👀
