Adding an additional display. Managed to get the custom font working and will revisit the UI again. I am not happy with this build yet. Want this thing slimmer, which means planning my poison on power: LiPo vs a small power bank? 🤔 (Looking for no fire drama!!!)

The dial is bulky with the cables too, but that's the challenge. I have my own detachable mechanism idea running through my head for a while now. Might want to try that next. 😉

First test fit of my Mandalorian armor ⚔️

I've kept the colors fairly neutral so far, but now I'm wondering... should I try Halo green, a shade of orange, or something completely different? 🤔

It still needs a bit more sanding, but I couldn't resist skipping ahead to see how it looks on me 😁

Updated my Mando HUD Interface with some futuristic interactions. Yes there were some limitations to what this can handle but I am on a trial and error mode tweaking in every way to make things work as it should be. Mando deserves the best!

I've been playing this with my friends since Gen-1 (plastic era). The second those beys start to spin & I hear those tops colliding, I become a 9 year old every time 😎.

Back in the day Takara Tomy was a myth in India and people who did manage to import would bash Hasbro beys' craftsmanship pretty badly. It's a different story now.✌🏼

It used to be just a few kids that huddled around a self-made stadium. Now there's a well-organized community here with proper match rules bringing that same energy back. Feels good to see it and getting back to the competitive scene. 🔥

If you're in Chennai, do check out @chennai_beyblade_association out. It's fun with friends of all ages.

Okay this is getting way cooler than I originally planned. Started with “let me put a UI on a tiny screen” and now I’m building a full Mandalorian-style gauntlet HUD with bounty scans, tracking fobs and weapon systems. 🤩

This is just iteration 1. Still doing some trial and error with new features, animations and making the UI feel more cinematic.

Made this test gauntlet about a year ago to see how well it'd look & fit. Used neodymium magnets to hold it in place and they actually sat pretty well. It might even survive the next iteration. But I'll probably switch to buckle straps when I add the HUD display to this, just to be safe.

Count by count, swirl by swirl, I honestly lost track of time while building this. I first saw the Starry Night LEGO in a Loft store in Tokyo and couldn’t bring myself to walk past it.

It’s done now… but I wasn’t ready for it to end 😅

You can’t dodge every problem in life. Some just end when you face them. ✨😌 Happy New Year 🎊
