My Bubba Boy’s highlights from yesterday’s 🏀 game…he didn’t score a lot but he was all over the court in every other aspect of the game! Steals, rebounds, blocks, diving on the floor for the ball, fast breaks, locking up on defense, hustling up and down the court, a little sad when they were down or missed a shot yet hyping up his teammates when they scored!! Even though I turn into Party-Planner-Zilla 🦖 our tribe & village is so amazing and couldn’t have pulled this off without the dedication and support from each and everyone of them 🥹! Season 1: Episode 1 of a 6ish part Mini Series of the Rise, LOVE, Family & Roots of Hall4 that we built from the Ground up! Something I have been working on since last December that was supposed to air on Jan 5th for our Anniversary. Better late than Never and just in time during the Month of Love 💕. The Plot : Wise words I recently heard from one of my fav podcast that caught my attention and relate to so much within our marriage….. “We May not necessarily need eachother”but we get eachother, we choose eachother every single day. our vows havent changed, Our mindset hasn’t changed, our approach of excitement of being with eachother everyday hasnt changed. 5 years into marriage… a lot of relationships falter , they change, they become damaged….but not with us , we cherish our love, Hall4 is beautiful and we love it and want to take care of it. Even During moments of weakness and when our minds go into dark places ….we lean into eachother to figure out how to reconnect and repair even the tiniest despair. We have learned to make long term decisions that send us on a life long route …like having kids, starting a family, getting a dog. We learned we must always stay aware to not compromise or fracture our marriage or family! Communication is key, it’s not easy but as soon as everything is laid out on the table and discussed, the air feels lighter every time. At the very root of it all…We don’t NEED eachother, we are both independent, driven, able & capable people. BUT we CHOOSE to need & want eachother every single day for the rest of our lives. We have done and accomplished so many things independently before meeting, but it was not the best part of life or the most important! What is the BEST part of life is our marriage and our family. I am beyond blessed to have not just found any man but MY MAN, The father to our babies, my home, my heart and my safest place, my Person & my Everything! ~Hall4 ♥️ by @baashleyrn
