One of the most underrated performances of Jake Gyllenhaal. Demolition (2015) is one of the most realistic and emotionally honest films about grief. Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée. The film has developed a devoted following, with many viewers considering it one of Gyllenhaal’s most underrated performances. Discussions online often describe it as a film that becomes more meaningful on a second viewing. The screenplay for this film was featured in the 2007 Blacklist; a list of the “most liked” unmade scripts of the year. by @baatedilse__

What you say out loud about your future has more power than you think. 🧠🎯
In 2013, a 16-year-old Tom Holland was asked on a red carpet which superhero he’d want to play.
He said Spider-Man, maybe in ten years. Two years later, he was announced as Peter Parker. Saying it didn’t hand him the role.
He’d been performing since he was a kid, starting in Billy Elliot on London’s West End, and he still had to win the part through auditions.
The words gave him a target. The work closed the gap.
You have a version of that sentence too. Maybe it’s a business, a promotion, a home for your parents, or a life your family has never had.
Say exactly what it is, then build your days around getting there.
Some of the most successful people in the world started with less than you have right now. Why not you? by @baatedilse__

Movie - Pradama Drishtiya Kuttakkar (2026, Malayalam) Starring - @par_vathy @mathewthomass @unnimangooo_ @vinayforrt Vijayraghavan

Four Police personnels accidentally shoot a criminal inside police station.
Will they be able to escape? Or will they be caught?

It’s Drishyam in a new story, in short, because the structure of the screenplay completely follow the same structure of Drishyam.
But I liked the writing although there are some shortcomings. I loved the performances of the cast.
Parvathy is phenomenal. Her emotional arch shapes her performance and provides the context of why she is doing what she is doing.
She is smart, a team leader , an empath and her every step is a calculated move. Yeah she does try acting with her eyes which Mohanlal and Ajay Devgan do in Drishyam but I guess that only suits them.
The other three characters are not well explored, their personal lives are shown in a hurried manner just to cater to the plot so you only connect with Parvathy and a little with Unnimaya’s character Divya.
Mathew Thomas is strong but his character is not well written. Unnimaya Prasad is outstanding. She shows the fear and emotional impact of the act they have done. Sidharth Bharathan is also phenomenal.
Azees who plays SI is an irritant and plays his role with conviction. He is amazing.
Vinay Forrt provides some comedic relief. Vijay Raghavan as DySP is confident and full of ego to solve the case. He is a veteran and amazing in the movie.

🎬 Title: The Perfect Lie (라이어)
📺 Episodes: 12 🎭
Category: Psychological Thriller / Mystery 🧠🕵️‍♀️

If you love high-stakes tension and unreliable narrators, The Perfect Lie needs to be on your watchlist!
Reunited after eight years, Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin deliver masterclass performances in this gripping tale where a seemingly dreamlike romance spirals into a web of deceit.
The plot centers on conflicting perspectives of a single night—leaving you constantly second-guessing who is telling the truth. Directed with intense focus and razor-sharp pacing, the series expertly dismantles trust, making every episode feel like a psychological chess match.
Unpredictable, haunting, and completely addictive! 🔥✨ . .

For nearly two decades, Brendan Fraser stepped away from Hollywood after reaching the heights of early success.
His career changed dramatically following personal and professional struggles, leaving him largely absent from the industry that had once made him a household name.
During those difficult years, Fraser faced divorce, depression, and professional setbacks.
He also spoke publicly about an alleged incident involving former Hollywood Foreign Press Association president Philip Berk.
The experience deeply affected him and contributed to his decision to step away.
Then came The Whale, a role that gave Fraser an opportunity to return to the spotlight. His performance earned widespread recognition and eventually brought him the Academy Award for Best Actor, creating one of Hollywood’s most emotional comeback stories.
After years of being overlooked, Fraser returned with renewed purpose and proved that difficult chapters do not have to define the rest of your story.
His journey is a powerful reminder that resilience can lead to new beginnings, even after years of silence. by @baatedilse__
