I have to sort this now 😭 Which set should I build first? Do you have anything good in storage? My friend has this insane LEGO collection with grails from every major theme from like 2010-2015. This is the best LEGO era ever in my opinion. They had so much variety and did every major movie. I estimate it’s worth at $7000+, so follow to watch me build this. The Lord of the Rings stuff he has in here is just insane 😭 But the Star Wars too 😳 by @bababricks_

What have you found in your childhood LEGO bins? I can’t believe I just had this minifig that’s ridiculous 😂 I would have never guessed one of my minifigures would be worth that much. It just goes to show you it’s always worth checking the LEGO bins and seeing what you have. I love how I had all the themes growing up too, Ninjago, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and Lord of the Rings I was stacked. by @bababricks_

I hope brittle brown doesn’t ruin this set 😖
Today’s build is the Ninjago Lighthouse Siege (70594), a retired 2016 set with over 700 pieces that has been sitting in a used collection for years. It’s a huge lighthouse build, and it uses a lot of brown.
If you’ve collected older LEGO, you know the problem. Brown pieces from this era can go brittle with age, and the bricks that look fine can act completely different once you put pressure on them. I’ve heard the warnings for years, and this set was the first real test.
This build is part of my series where I’m working through a used, retired LEGO collection of 23 sets, all 7-11 years old, that I bought for $2,100. Every episode I find out how much is missing, what condition it’s in, and whether I got ripped off.
So did the brown hold up? I’m not telling you here. You’ll have to watch to find out. 👀

Man I am NOT ready for what might be in these bins 😭🧱
3 hours in the car just for the CHANCE that my childhood LEGO still has something good in it. Like bro I genuinely don’t remember what I kept and what got tossed over the years, so this is basically a gamble at this point.
But if there’s even a small chance I’ve got first wave Ninjago in there... that’s the OG stuff man. That’s Spinjitzu era, that’s when the sets actually came with the spinners, that’s before Ninjago turned into whatever it is now. If that’s really in there I might actually lose it a little.
Also grabbing bulk pieces while I’m out so I stop relying on BrickLink for every missing piece — feels like such a small win but it matters when you’re trying to actually finish builds instead of staring at a pile with 3 parts missing forever.
Bringing my personal collection home too and I’m planning to trade a piece or two on Marketplace soon, so that’s coming as its own video — follow so you don’t miss it.
No idea what I’m walking into with this bin. Could be nothing. Could be a goldmine. Either way we’re finding out together 🙏 by @bababricks_

WHICH SET IS NEXT?
Finally built the Lego Ninjago Dawn of Iron Doom set, and it turned out so good. 🥷⚙️ The snake mech has a spinning time portal, a missile-shooting eye, and two blades that pop on and off. There’s also a whole swamp fort with an egg-drop function and a little prison you can rearrange in different layouts — so it’s basically two Lego builds in one set, which I wasn’t expecting.
It comes with six minifigs too (Wu, Lloyd, Jay, Acronix, Krux, and Commander Blunck), each with their own weapons, so it actually looks like a scene from the show once it’s all put together. 704 pieces total, and it took longer than I thought, but every section felt so satisfying to put together that it never got boring — one of those Lego sets that’s genuinely fun to build start to finish.
This Lego set’s been retired for a while now, so if you already have one, you know it’s kind of a big deal. If you’re a Ninjago fan or just enjoy a good Lego build video, stick around for the reveal at the end. 👀
