SUNDERED SUN comes out 9/28!!!!
I love a multi POV storyline, especially when like in this story the POVs are enemies with completely different views on the realities in front of them!!
If you enjoy enemies to lovers, fulfilling prophecies, great banter, magic, internal struggles of choosing between duty and morals then this book is for you!!

Maybe there’s a reason reading by candlelight feels like such an exhale. 🕯️📖

I went down a little research rabbit hole after wondering whether there’s actually anything behind that feeling…and there is some fascinating research around fire and relaxation.

Studies have found that watching fire can be associated with physiological signs of relaxation, including reductions in blood pressure. There’s also broader research connecting relaxation practices with reductions in cortisol, one of the hormones involved in our stress response.

That doesn’t mean I can scientifically promise that lighting this candle will lower your cortisol…the research isn’t that specific.

But it does make me feel a little better about my favorite kind of evening:

✨ turning down the lights
✨ lighting a candle
✨ making something warm to drink
✨ opening a book
✨ and letting the rest of the day get very, very quiet

The rules of the trials are clear, the struggle to learn the magic was a fun ride. Knowing much about Tarot I found it very fitting for Nero to have been the Tower, and for Kestrel to be the Moon. As both of those cards represent change. I am eager to see what happens next after the devastating ending.

The slow burn led to on the page spice. Enemies to lovers in many senses of the word as everyone starts out as enemies, they may not all be lovers but some type of affection.

TOWAV has made her way home 😍 if you’re not familiar with the legacy series but love morally grey characters and emotional whiplash then I HIGHLY recommend reading this series!!!!
