Happy anniversary my love. It has been a very long and very hard 15 months for me since you were called home. I know you are watching over all of us, your great loves on Earth, and preparing our heavenly home for the day we are reunited. Until then, know that you are in my heart, my thoughts and my prayers every waking moment of every single day. I love you for all eternity! by @babooreal

Happy heavenly birthday. You would think that more than a year going by would have lessened my grief, even a tiny bit, but it hasn't. I miss you more every day. Every new experience reminds me that I can't share it with you. Every joy is tinged with a touch of sadness as well. You truly were my better half, and I feel less than whole without you. The world is a darker place without the light you brought to everyone and every situation. Until we meet again, just know that I will never stop thinking about you, never stop loving you and never stop missing you. by @babooreal

To all “ Never Forget”

Before things get busy today, please keep this in mind as you go about your day:

8:46am - WTC North Tower was struck

9:03am - WTC South Tower was struck

9:37am - Pentagon was struck

9:59am - South Tower collapsed

10:03am - Flight 93 crashed in Shanksville, PA

10:28am - North Tower collapsed

As the years go by, it becomes easier to just acknowledge the day and then go about your business. It shouldn't be easy. It should never be easy. The world, and all of us, changed that day.

Particularly now, when we all have differing views about how to run and how to heal our country, please think back to 9/11 - and more specifically, 9/12. There were no black Americans, white Americans, Republicans, Democrats, gay Americans, trans Americans or straight Americans. We were all just Americans. I so wish we could get back to that. I am tired of all the in-fighting.

Love one another. Be kind. But never, ever forget

God Bless Us All by @babooreal
