Capped off my incredible journey with a visit to my new friend @officiallyjorje at his new gig behind the bar at the new @theivystratforduponavon . King George and the rest of the bar staff cast a magical spell up in there and the vibes were, as the kids say, immaculate.

Anyone who's ever met me has probably gotten an earful about what Dolly Parton means to me. From the moment I first saw her in 9 to 5 in the theater with my hard working single mom to the infinite repeat viewings when I got home from school as a latchkey kid thanks to the cable guy who hooked us up for life for a flat fee of $50 to when Best Little Whorehouse and Rhinestone and Steel Magnolias got added to the rotation to the guidance of my cool musician friends @thechrisowen and @hoyston at the SF Bay Guardian who introduced me to her life-altering catalog to literally feeling seen by her when I finally got to see her perform live to walking down the aisle to Love is Like a Butterfly, Dolly has always shone like an irresistible, incandescent beacon of Humanity's greatest potential for love, empathy, creativity and hair. Blah, blah, blah. Dolly could have said all that in one single perfect line. Anyway, im sure she would have been tickled teal with all the hootin' & hollerin' and loving up on strangers we did in her honor last night. Huge thanks to the world's hottest KJ @heatheroftheyear for getting our asses together ❤️ 🙌🏽 😘 by @babychoby
