exactly one year ago, i decided to go headfirst into tattooing, and i can’t help but reflect on how far i’ve come and how much i have to be grateful for. ♡

being self-taught, i used to think not having a mentor or knowing how to navigate the industry would hold me back. but looking back, i realized i was the one putting limits on myself. i just had to show up, take every opportunity seriously, and trust myself enough to figure things out along the way.

in just ONE year, i’ve gotten to work at @cyprus.chicago in the beautiful city of Chicago, learn from such talented artists, meet so many amazing people, hear their stories, guest spot in NYC, and build a community that makes me feel so supported and loved. like??? how is this real ˚. ᵎᵎ

there’s still so much to learn, unlearn, and grow into, but i’m so proud of how far i’ve come and excited for everything that’s still ahead. a year ago, i could only dream of being where i am now.

this is just the beginning and i’m so excited to see where this takes me. thank you for being here, for trusting me with your skin, and for supporting my little corner of the world. forever grateful. thank u thank u thank uuu ₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊ taken in Chicago, Illinois by @babymaxyinks
