Today, my husband and I are taking our first trip away from our youngest baby together.

I’m excited, I know he’s in great hands, but yes, I still want pictures.

Pregnancy comes with a lot of talk about how much life changes after baby. I know it’s hard to picture, but you’re still you.

You’ll miss your baby while enjoying time away. You’ll talk about something besides your kids…eventually. And you’ll look forward to sleeping in only to wake up at 6 a.m. anyway.

Motherhood adds so much to your life. You still get to be the version of you who loves trips, friends, sleep, and fun 🤩

Imagine walking into appointments knowing what to ask, making decisions with your partner, and reaching the end of pregnancy with a plan you both understand. Not second guessing if you missed something important.

šŸ‘‹šŸ¼Ā I’m Steph, your pregnancy concierge and mom of two. I help first-time parents turn all that information into clear next steps for pregnancy, birth, and baby.

You saved it because you wanted to feel ready.

The birth story. The stroller comparison. The ā€œask these questions at your next appointmentā€ post.

But now you’re trying to figure out which advice fits you, what needs your attention, and where your partner comes in.

That’s what we work through in my 1:1 pregnancy coaching. ā¤ļø

We talk through your options, make room for your questions, and practice how your partner can support you, including when plans change.

A plan you trust starts with knowing why it makes sense for your family.

šŸ’ŒĀ DM me BABY and we can talk about where you’d like help getting started.

šŸ™ŒšŸ¼ Imagine bringing your baby home and not having to explain where everything is, what needs to happen next, or which task your partner should take.

They already know the plan. They know your goals for birth and postpartum. They can soothe the baby, start the laundry, make dinner, or step in while you rest without waiting for a list.

That kind of teamwork is easier when it begins during pregnancy. āœ…

ā¤ļø This is a big part of what I help first-time parents do through 1:1 coaching: make decisions together and build a plan you both understand before exhaustion joins the group chat.

You may have found me because the algorithm knows you’re pregnant now, possibly before half your family does.

Apparently, that means it was time for us to meet. šŸ‘‹šŸ¼Ā

I’m Steph. Pregnancy coach, mom of two, and someone who wants you to feel supported and excited about what comes next.

Your turn: Tell me one random thing about you that has nothing to do with pregnancy. A hidden talent, niche obsession, or snack you’ll defend forever. 😃 taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @babyprepwithsteph

Here we go! Pregnancy symptoms, but make it fun!

How many of these did you guess?

1. šŸŽ° 24/7 Stomach Lottery = Morning sickness
2. 🧠 Baby-induced buffering = pregnancy brain
3. 🚽 Bladder Boot Camp = Frequent peeing
4. šŸ  Hormonal HGTV = Nesting
5. 🤢 Betrayal Buffet = Food aversions
6. šŸ¦ Womb Service = Pregnancy cravings

Because ā€œmorning sicknessā€ is a wildly misleading name when nausea can show up at any time.

Which one was your favorite?? šŸ˜‚ taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @babyprepwithsteph

OK hear me out. Your baby registry does NOT need every baby gadget ever invented.

Here’s the thing: You don’t know what your baby will actually like yet.

Instead, add gift cards to your registry!

Of course, you’ll want the essentials ready. This is all new to you too, so giving yourself some wiggle room to buy things as you decide they are needed is power.

That way, when you’re 3 weeks postpartum and realize what would actually make your life easier, you have money reserved to spend.

And hopefully fewer things collecting dust in your closet. šŸ™ƒ

What’s one baby item you’re not sure is worth buying? Tell me in the comments! šŸ‘‡

What’s it called when you’ve saved 40 registry items but still feel like you have made a single decision?

Because finding baby gear is easy. Knowing what will work in your actual life is the hard part.

🧐 Will the stroller fit in your trunk? Where will the baby sleep? Do you have room for another countertop gadget? Is that expensive item actually useful, or did Instagram just tell you that you need it so MAYBE you will sleep again?

šŸ™ŒšŸ¼Ā Imagine opening your registry and knowing why every item is there. It fits your home, your budget, and the way you want life with your baby to feel. Your partner understands the plan too.

šŸ‘‰šŸ¼Ā That is the kind of preparation I help first-time parents create. We sort through the noise together, so you can stop second-guessing every decision and feel like you actually know what comes next.

The baby prep flex nobody puts on Babylist: knowing your benefits šŸ‘€Ā

If a baby might be part of your 2027 plans, take a peek during open enrollment:

- What would you pay each month, and what are your deductible and out-of-pocket limit?
- Are the doctors or hospital you’re considering in network?
- Do you have an FSA or HSA? Some baby-related items, like breast pumps and lactation supplies, may qualify! *Check your plan’s rules.

ā¤ļøĀ Save this for open enrollment, and follow for baby prep that starts before you get flooded with gear. taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @babyprepwithsteph

Picture this: You’re in labor and someone brings up an option you didn’t expect. You turn to your partner. Do you both know what you want to ask?

ā¤ļø That’s why I want you to talk through your birth plan together before the day arrives. Your partner can learn what matters most to you, help you ask questions, and be part of the conversation when a decision comes up.

This is a big part of what we do in my 1:1 coaching. We talk through your options and the ā€œwhat ifsā€ while you have time to learn together.

You can communicate well now and still picture life with a baby very differently.

Maybe one of you assumes nights will be shared. The other thinks the person going back to work needs more sleep.

One wants visitors right away. The other wants a quiet first week at home.

Neither of you is wrong. But those unspoken expectations can turn into hurt feelings quickly when it’s 2 a.m., the baby is awake, and you’re both exhausted.

You don’t need every answer today. Start talking about what each of you expects, what support looks like, and who will own what.

I want you to enter parenthood knowing how to say, ā€œI need help,ā€ and how to reconnect when the plan changes. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

That’s a big part of what I help first-time parents do through my 12-session, 1:1 pregnancy coaching experience. We prepare together so the whole plan isn’t sitting in one person’s head.
