𝑅(𝒽𝑒𝒶𝓋𝑒𝓃) ~ 𝐼𝓃 𝐿𝑜𝓋𝑒, 𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝐿𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 ✨

Life, as it seemed, was ending. My relationships didn’t pull through the way I thought they would in 2019. Left law enforcement and the military in 2020. Lost my home in 2022, Ninang and Peanut 2023, Nanay and Coco 2024. I found myself in a constant state of limbo, suffering from chronic nostalgia and anticipatory grief. I was scared that, slowly, time will take away the things I love.

And in these past years of losing things that made me whole, I am proud to say

I stand before you today as my healthiest, most healed, and happiest self.

In hindsight, I realize how each of those things prepared me for each chapter of my life. And just how my life is divinely designed. Divinely timed.

And while those things may no longer physically exist, they reside in me. A mosaic of all the things I love, and all the things that have loved me.

And so, whether I’ve known you since the womb (mom), elementary school, or now, I want to say thank you for all your love.

Thank you for seeing something in me. Teaching me. Taking care of me. I want to let you know that you have made this life such a joy to live, and your kindness has only made me a kinder person.

Thank you especially to my team and for being part of this project. You are literally making my dreams come true, and I am honored to be blessed by your presence and gifts.

I am R(heaven)

I am love.
I am in love.
And I am loved.

In this I pray, amen 🧡

𝘋𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘉𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘴 ~ 𝘌𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦

Being behind closed doors, transports me to a sanctuary where I am free.

The moment the door closes, time pauses, and I am able to frolic

Free from judgment.
Free from responsibilities.
Free to be myself in any and every extension.

Being behind closed doors, momentarily, allows me to breathe, and opens the gateway to self-reflection, self-discovery, and in result, self-love.

In this space, I am at peace,

yet ironically,

I still wait for the day I am set free.
