Just as the river keeps flowing, I’ll keep charging forward.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
With 2025, I learnt visibility and substance are two different things and since then, I have locked in and more focused on building my personal brand and this year, I wouldn’t be running after being seen or being everywhere. While I’ll document the journey to self development, I’ll keep them for later years when I’m global but! People will see difference that I have been doing silent hardwork.

I would not for any reason whatsoever limit or reduce my efforts or performance out of concern for how others might feel especially holding back to avoid intimidating or outshining others. I will not be constrained by a narrow outlook or the ant-like efforts of those around me this year.

I’ll be more intentional with my relationship with God and the fact that he’s the center of it all, I’ll build a network of quality humans contemporaries or older people. I’ll be more intentional with celebrating every of my wins along the way and none shall be considered small in my heart or in my eyes. Interpersonal relationships with humans and networking will be on all time high, maintaining cordial relationships with kiths and kins and also ensure not to forget people’s birthday nor feel like it’s nothing worth celebrating, I’ll improve in the art and act of showing up for people.

I’ll let my published book announce the “writer” part of me instead of the regular think pieces, although I’ll share tidbits every week and maybe according to what I feel or what’s trending that I have an opinion about.
At least four published renowned literature works, one for every quarter of the year and maybe one of them, a best seller.

All round this year, I’ll be a better person. A global person.

The gavel falls for the final time.

What began as a responsibility became a journey. A journey of service, difficult decisions, bold conversations, legislative innovation, and a staunch belief in the potential of young people.

Friday, I officially took my final bow as Speaker of the 4th Assembly of the Ekiti State Youth Parliament.

This video captures more than a valedictory sitting and a dinner. It captures memories, friendships, victories, lessons, and the privilege of serving a generation larger than myself.

To every member, stakeholder, supporter, critic, and young person who believed in our vision, thank you.

Titles are temporary. Impact is not.

As one chapter closes, another begins.

The work continues.

The Speaker of the Ekiti Youth Parliament addressed the Model United Nations in Ghana as a Nigerian delegate.

We highlighted our nation’s rich cultural diversity and vibrant youth population. We emphasized the crucial role that young leaders play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With over 60% of our population under 25, we are harnessing this youthful energy through initiatives like the National Youth Policy and the Nigerian Youth Investment Fund, which empower us with the skills and resources needed for sustainable development.

In Ekiti State, we are actively promoting sustainability through efforts such as the Green Ekiti Project, which focuses on climate action and environmental conservation. We also recognize the importance of partnerships in advancing sustainable development. In both Lagos and Ekiti, collaborations between government, private sectors, and international organizations have driven progress in technology, agriculture, and renewable energy.

As we look ahead, we stress the need to continue empowering youth across Nigeria by fostering inclusive policies and supporting innovation. We are already leading the charge toward a sustainable future, and our success is vital for the prosperity of our nation and the world. taken in University of Ghana, Legon by @babznathans

Exactly one month ago today, I bowed out of office as Speaker of the Ekiti State Youth Parliament.

I would have shared these reflections earlier, but duty called once again. The election season demanded my full attention, and I had the rare privilege of serving as the youngest member of an Ekiti Gubernatorial Campaign Council of a ruling party. For that opportunity, I remain deeply grateful to His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

On November 30, 2023, I was inaugurated as Speaker with a heart full of hope, knowing the weight of the responsibility ahead. Along the way, many stopped seeing me simply as Tunde. I became “Mr. Speaker” and “Rt. Hon.” titles that reminded me daily that leadership is earned through service.

By God’s grace, we gave our very best. Not every vision reached its final destination, but leadership taught me that some seeds are planted for others to nurture. I leave fulfilled, knowing we served sincerely and left the institution stronger than we met it.

The slides that follow are not a celebration of one individual. They reflect God’s faithfulness, the commitment of my colleagues, the support of mentors and stakeholders, and the trust placed in a young man privileged to lead.

To God Almighty, His Excellency Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Honourable Commissioner for Youth, my principal officers, honourable members, the Clerk and staff of the Parliament, the Executive, mentors, friends, supporters, critics, and every young person who believed in our leadership, thank you.

The office has changed hands, but my commitment to service has not.

This is not the end of the journey. It is simply the beginning of another chapter.

Thank you, Ekiti.

Thank you for trusting me to serve. taken in Governor's Office, Ado-Ekiti. Ekiti-State by @babznathans

Yesterday in Efon, alongside other well meaning sons and daughters of our land, I had the honour of receiving and welcoming His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

The massive turnout and warm reception further reaffirm one thing, the people recognize leadership that is working, visible, and impactful. From infrastructure to youth inclusion and grassroots development, the confidence of our people in this administration continues to grow stronger.

As young people, we remain resolute in our support and commitment to the continuity of purposeful governance in Ekiti State.

Efon stands with BAO.
Ekiti stands with progress.

Because His Excellency @kfayemi , said “Youth isn’t just a stage of life; it’s a stage of possibilities. Use this time to innovate, and to create.” Himself and his numerous Mentees around the world invited myself and other honorable colleagues at the Ekiti State Youth parliament to his 60th birthday Youth engagement yesterday, I attended and saw first hand the importance of building “MEN”

Monday, April 27.
As the youngest member of the 2026 Ekiti State APC Campaign Council, I’ve been busy rallying young people across the state not just to support, but to actually deliver results together.
Away from noise and paparazzi, this is a work grounded in real work and real numbers.
Under BAO, youth inclusion isn’t a campaign slogan, it’s an actual lived policy. Structured engagement, regular support through subventions, expanded bursaries, and real opportunities for global exposure. The difference is visible and measurable.
“Leave no one behind” isn’t just a phrase we loves to say, it’s how BAO has actually been governing.
And let’s be honest about the numbers: young people make up over 60% of the electorate in Ekiti. We are many, we are organized, and when we move, we move with purpose.
So when I say we’re targeting over 350,000 youth votes, it’s not wishful thinking, it’s a deliverable.
There’s a Yoruba saying: Whoever does what has never been done will see what has never been seen.
We’ve seen enough. Now it’s time to act.
June is not a contest. It’s a confirmation.

Leadership is not a position, it’s a journey and today, mine just got deeper.

Being welcomed into the Linus Okorie Fellowship is more than an achievement, it’s a responsibility, a call to serve, and a reminder that leadership is about people, purpose, and positive change.

From my early days in student advocacy to my current role as Speaker of the Ekiti State Youth Parliament, one thing has remained constant; a burning desire to grow, to serve, and to lead with integrity. The Linus Okorie Fellowship is a platform I’ve long admired, one that equips leaders with the tools, mindset, and vision to transform lives and build nations.

This 4-week transformational program kicked off today at the GOTNI Leadership Centre Jabi, Abuja. I’m honored to be among the 51 change makers from across Nigeria who are committed to driving impact and excellence.

This isn’t just about me,this is for every young person who believe leadership is earned through service, not just titles.

Thank you to the Dr. Linus Okorie (MFR) for believing in my vision and giving me the room to grow. The journey continues and I promise to walk it with courage, clarity, and compassion.

May Youth Speaker Speak this May?

The Universe Isn’t on a Budget Ask Big.

Who told you to shrink?
Who convinced you that your dreams were “too much”?
That you had to tone it down, play it safe, settle for less?

Look around you, this universe,it endless sky, oceans without borders, stars that refuse to burn out, the sun?does this look like something that’s rationing blessings?
No. The universe isn’t on a budget.

It doesn’t run out of miracles.
It doesn’t say, “You’ve had enough light, go sit in the dark.” It doesn’t say, “Someone else already got the life you want, so there’s none left for you.”
The universe is limitless.
So why are you asking like you’re undeserving?
Why are you dreaming small?
Why are you whispering prayers when you were meant to declare boldly?
Ask. Big. Loud. Fearlessly.
Ask for healing.
Ask for global stages.
Ask for the house, the peace, the purpose, the partner, the platform.
Ask like your soul knows it was made for more because it was.

There is no scarcity in the realm of possibility.
You do not have to compete to be seen.
You are not a burden for wanting more.
You are a reflection of a limitless and unending God.

So stop budgeting your desires.
Start believing in the abundance that you were created after. by @babznathans

We made history again.

Monday 9th of March 2025, I was officially inaugurated as a member of the State Campaign Council for the re-election of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.

For someone of my present level of influence, this moment represents more than a personal milestone. It is a strong signal that merit, consistency, and youth engagement are gradually earning their rightful place in our political process especially since the beginning of @biodunaoyebanji Administration in Ekiti.

I do not take this responsibility lightly. Campaign councils are not merely ceremonial bodies, they are strategic platforms where ideas are born and refined, structures are strengthened, and the bridge between elite leadership and the people is reinforced.

My commitment remains clear: to contribute meaningfully, to ensure that the voice of young people is not only heard but considered, and to support a campaign that prioritizes continuity, stability, and development for Ekiti State.

This moment is both a responsibility and a reminder that the future of our politics must increasingly create room for competence, accountability, and generational inclusion.

The work continues.
