🎉 We’re celebrating at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy! 🎉

After a recent Ofsted inspection in April, we’re proud to share that BACA has been
rated ‘Good’ in all areas – including quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal
development, and leadership and management.

This is a huge achievement for our school and a testament to the hard work, resilience, and
belief of our incredible staff, students, and wider community. Just three years ago, BACA
was rated ‘Inadequate’ – so to reach this milestone in such a short time is nothing short of remarkable.

We’re especially proud that the Ofsted report highlights how our Aldridge values are lived
every day at BACA – from our commitment to leaving no one behind, to bringing learning to
life through our curriculum and enrichment opportunities.

Our unique cricket and football academies continue to offer elite sporting pathways without the barrier of school fees – just one example of how we’re helping students thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Of course, schools are more than inspection outcomes. While this rating is a moment to
celebrate, it’s the daily relationships, creativity, and character-building that truly define BACA.

To our students, families, staff, and supporters – thank you. We believed we could, and we
did!

Due to a Brighton & Hove football fixture, we have had to changed the date of our BACA College Open Evening. The event will now be on Thursday 22nd October between 6.00pm - 8.00pm.

We are looking forward to our SEN Coffee Morning on Thursday 17th September. This is a great opportunity for our SEN families to come together from 9.30am - 10.30am, the session will be ran by Ms Chapman & Ms Wilson in collaboration with the Autism in Schools project.
