✨Zura Y Anna✨

This wasn’t just another demo for us.

It was our very first workshop together in the city we now call home. And for Anna, it carried an even deeper meaning.

Exactly one year earlier, she had walked into her very first Bachata class in that same place. Watching her return there one year later—not as a student, but as an instructor—was something truly special.

Here is what she wanted to share about this journey:

"On that day, one year ago, I took my very first Bachata class. Looking back, I could never have imagined that just one year later I would be celebrating this milestone as an instructor in the very same place where it all began. What a beautiful, challenging, inspiring, and life-changing journey it has been.

I'm deeply grateful to every teacher, friend, and dance partner who supported me along the way. You have all been part of my story.

This is only the beginning. Exciting new projects are coming soon, and I can't wait to share them with you" ✨

Thank you @multicultural_salsa_bcn for the opportunity 🙏🏻 we looved the vibe, energy and every moment of it.‼️❤️

Thank you for sharing this moment with me @anna_dnce I am so proud of you, proud of how far you have come, keep growing and keep shining dear ✨✨❤️

There’s nothing quite like the feeling of returning to the floor at The Influence Academy. Absorbing fresh inspiration and meeting incredible new people is amazing, but sharing a dance with @by_gatica always brings that extra bit of magic. ✨

Thank you to both @melvinbeltran_ @by_gatica for creating The Influence Academy and sharing all your knowledge with us. 🙏🏻❤️

🤩 Life-Changing Week at @bachata.influence Academy!

Wow. I am happy to be part of the Bachata Influence Family. I am still buzzing from my experience at the Bachata Influence Academy! This past week was truly transformative. It's not an exaggeration to say that my entire vision of the dance has completely changed. The level of understanding and passion shared there is something I've never encountered before.

Since my first encounter with them in March 2024! Their unique dance style touched my soul and right there and then I decided that I will learn it and become part of their big family.

From the very first moment, the atmosphere was electric and genuinely amazing. It was incredible to be surrounded by so many people who were truly hungry for learning and deeply passionate about the essence of Bachata Influence. That collective energy pushed us all to new heights!

A massive, heartfelt thank you to the legends, @melvinbeltran_ and @by_gatica , for orchestrating this incredible experience and for giving me what was genuinely the best week of my life. I walked away with a full heart and truly didn't want it to end! ❤️

Big thanks to the @influence.team_ for helping us during this week and @eloyjrojas and @hlproducti0n for capturing beautiful moments from the academy, that I will remember my whole life!

Same beginning, two completely different worlds! In this reel, we're showing you how the exact same entry and foundational concept can be interpreted through two distinct lenses: Bachazouk and Bachata Influence.

The Bachazouk approach heavily incorporates Brazilian Zouk elements-think fluid, continuous spine movements, dynamic head whips, and an emphasis on momentum, elasticity, and soft, sweeping traveling turns to feel deeply connected, wave-like, and expansive.

Bachata Influence approach stays rooted in traditional and modern flavors of bachata, isolations, and body rolls while blending in fusion styling, leaning into sharper musical accents, grounded hip motion, and crisp, rhythmic body pops that match the percussion of the music.

Both require incredible connection and control, but they tell a totally different story with the exact same choreography. Celebrating the artistic freedom, independence, and confidence it takes to master multiple dimensions of your craft!

Which style speaks to your dance soul more-the smooth, wave-like flow of Bachazouk or the sharp, rhythmic flavor of Bachata Influence? Let me know in the comments! 👇🏼 by @bachazura

It's been more than 4 years since I posted a photo on my Instagram.
Thank you for the amazing photos @b.marika_ 🫂♥️❣️ by @bachazura

Some connections don't ask for explanations. When the silence between you is louder and more honest than anything you could ever say. 🖤✨
Love our dances @b.marika_ 🤍

Did you catch the musicality? 👀🎵

Who said Bachata Influence only works with remixes?

Real connection and musicality aren’t about the song—they’re about listening, feeling your partner, and creating a unique moment together.

Bachata Influence is a way of dancing, not a playlist. ✨
