Conquering the world one bark at a time #bachthedog
POSTS STORIES REELS
It’s been 2 years since our last goodbye. I’ve spent these 2 years moving around the world. And you were always there. A tiny hair still stuck on my t-shirt, an old photo my phone pulled out of nowhere, or the sound of a distant bark that felt like yours. I’ve moved so fast these 2 years that some part of me sometimes pop out and thinks “once I get home, I’ll see my dog” and it still makes me smile a little. Yes, I still miss you, Mr. Bach. Still not fully realizing the power you had in our little lives.. by @bachthedog
This week has been so hard. I don’t miss having a dog you were the only one I ever wanted. People keep asking, “Are you going to get another one?” But the truth is, from the very first time I saw you, I knew you would have been the only one. Sometimes, when I’m having fun, travelling, or doing sport, there’s this sudden thought that hits me like a wave: I should be going home to him, it’s been so long that I am away. And it’s crazy how, even after more than a year, I still catch myself organizing my life as if you were there, waiting for me. I like to believe that when I sleep, you are waiting patiently, in my dreams. Happy birthday, Mr. Bach. Another one without you, my little furry soul. by @bachthedog

How I imagine the dream I can’t remember when I wake up in the morning. #bach #bachthedog #bachdelmiocuore by @bachthedog
I’ve been silent for 3 months. ‘Cause I still can’t find the words to express how much I loved Mr. Bach. He was the sunshine of my life, and I sang this song to him almost every day. Bachito, everything is so quiet now. The time I have can’t be shared with you anymore, and I hate it. I’m still heartbroken, but I can’t thank you enough for the long life we spent together. We chose each other when I was just a teenager on a winter’s day. We spent every weekend hiking, swimming, adventuring, even riding motorcycles with me and my dad (yes, really). You even flew in a helicopter with him (I still haven’t). I never went more than a month without coming back to you, but how could I, when you were mine? I’m grateful to have this page for your picture. For me, for the nights I can’t sleep because I miss my little bed warmer. I’m so lucky to have spent 19 years by your side. I was the lucky one. Happy birthday, my little ball of fur, wherever you are. by @bachthedog

These past times have been so hard. And now you started to tell me you are ready. It’s quite a while I’m trying to imagine a life without you. But still. You are always by my side, doing stupid things as always. I imagine that in my 70s I’ll still have my smartphone’s memory full of your photos. But then I have to admit to myself that almost 19th year with your best friend is one of a lifetime gift and it’s quite impossible to forget. YOU ARE MY DOG. You will always be. Nothing can replace it. I hope you had a lot of fun mister Bach. by @bachthedog
