Kill the urge to be chosen.
Choose yourself.

Choose you and let that be the guiding point for everything else in your life.

You owe it to yourself.
You deserve this.

Reconnecting with mother Earth exploring the hottest, driest, lowest place in North America and doing what we love most — creating art.. encapsulating precious moments of pure, fleeting rapture…as elusive as the wind…
…..

So many bloopers before this video! It was so windy and so hot.
Proud of us for overcoming!!

Death Valley was both an unforgettable adventure and an epic creative collaboration 💛

In a world that feels increasingly hopeless,
you kind of start feeling guilty for having a good day.
For dancing.
For traveling.
For laughing with your friends while someone else is living through something unimaginable.

But I’m here to remind you (and myself) that your joy isn’t an insult to someone else’s suffering.

We can care deeply without carrying the entire weight of the world inside our body.

So check on your relatives, stay informed, give a shit and speak up. But remember you don’t honor people by making yourself miserable.

So go outside, make art, fall in love, dance until your feet hurt, and experience the extraordinary privilege of being alive.

Go look for the love of humanity beyond the headlines or better yet, let’s practice the humanity we wish to see in the world.

A reminder for myself today and anyone who needs it — you can be heartbroken by the world and still be in love with being alive in it ❤️🫂 by @back2caro

Always on the hunt for a beautiful backdrop, this time internationally.

The people of Ghent were not impressed. (With the exception ot the woman on that bicycle who stopped to look.)

I was not looking for an audience only to capture a moment of flow amidst the beauty of this town. Interestingly, the Dutch seem to be a little more meek and reserved. A very humble and polite culture.

As a woman who has spent years trying to become smaller, invisible, acceptable… I will take up my space, unapologetically yet respectfully. In any city, in any place.

I choose to take up space. by @back2caro
