All this to get my NMC registration back… and I’m here for it! 😂 😍

Refreshing my knowledge, building on what I already know, and getting ready to find my way back to the scrubs. ✨

New chapter, same passion. Let’s do this! 🥹🤞🏽

💙 SO… I’M FINDING MY WAY BACK TO NURSING! 🩺✨

Hi, I’m @back2scrubs! 🥹💗 I’m a mum, a nurse returning to practice after 4+ years away, and currently figuring out how to juggle uni, family life and everything in between. Wish me luck 😂 🥂

I don’t have enough practice hours to rejoin the NMC register, so my next step is a Return to Practice course to refresh my skills, rebuild my confidence and get back out there! 📚😍

I’ll be sharing the highs, lows, nerves and little wins along the way — because let’s be real, I’m figuring it out as I go! 😂

If you’ve stepped away from something you love, remember: it’s okay to start again, take a different path or decide what’s right for you. Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. 🤍

I’m trusting God’s plan, taking it one step at a time and seeing where this chapter leads. 🙏🏽✨

A little nervous, a lot hopeful, and ready to give it another go! 🥹💕

And if it was that easy… everyone would do it.” 💙🫰

Nursing isn’t easy, and that’s something to be proud of.

Behind every shift are challenges, difficult decisions and so much responsibility.

Be proud of the care you give, the challenges you overcome and the difference you make — even when no one sees it. 🫶🏽

Be proud of yourself and the work you do. It matters more than you know. 💙

Returning to nursing takes courage — the revision, interviews and rebuilding your confidence.

When it gets tough, remember your why. Why you started, what nursing means to you, and why you’re choosing to return. 🫶🏽

One step at a time. You’ve got this. 💙

THEATRE NURSES… LET’S TALK ASEPTIC TECHNIQUE! 🩺🧤

The sterile field is not something we just set up and hope for the best with. 😂

From surgical hand antisepsis and gowning to protecting the sterile field and recognising contamination, every detail matters.

A little theatre refresher for my Return to Practice revision. Some things are worth going back to basics with! 🤍📚

The joys of being a scrub nurse… sometimes the mask is definitely saving me from getting caught making a face. 😂😭

ABCDE assessment 🩺📚 A structured approach to recognising and responding to a deteriorating patient.

Save this for your RTP revision — and remember to escalate concerns early, reassess after interventions and follow your local clinical guidance. 🤍
