We’re proud to welcome @campervanbrew as our bar partner for The Backcountry Bash 2026.

Two Edinburgh stories that started small. Campervan began in 2015 with a garage, a 1973 VW campervan called Olive and a portable brew kit, then opened their Leith brewery in 2017.

They’re bringing their core range to the bar, including gluten free options and Off-Piste Pale, their 0.5% low alcohol pale ale.

Last Winter 🎬 by Gavin Reid

After the 2020 season was cut short, winter 25/26 finally delivered the run of backcountry days we’d all been waiting for. Gav made a promise to himself: no wasted days.

Coming off a battle with testicular cancer the winter before, and finally feeling fit again, he set out to ride this season like it was his last. Because who knows when we’ll live our “Last Winter.”

📸 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 📸

This year isn’t just about the riders in front of the lens. It’s about the people who capture the moments so the story gets told properly.

The Backcountry Bash x @yetieurope Photography Competition is open.

❄️ Send us one photograph from the 2025/26 Scottish winter
🖼️ Ten images get shortlisted, printed at A3 and displayed at the Bash on Saturday 14 November
📱 Every photo gets its own QR code and everyone at the Bash casts one vote
🏆 The winner is announced at the intermission and takes home an exclusive YETI prize pool
🎁 All 10 shortlisted photographers get to keep their A3 print at the end of the night

Thirty years ago, four lads stepped off the train at Corrour.

Three of them couldn’t see the point but it turns out Tommy was right.

Last winter, a new crew took the train north with skis on their packs to prove it.
