Words to camp by.

Sure that sleeping bag is rated for super cold nights in the mountains, but it’s only gonna perform up to its potential if you have a nice pad with a good R value.

Come into the shop and learn more about how to stay warm on cold nights.

What’s in your climbing pack?

The proof is in the pudding. Our Ops guy is mutant-strong, and when he says he’s going climbing, he means it.

We thought we’d ask him to share a few items he carries in his kit that could help us all load up better when it’s time to head out.

We love to talk gear and adventure, so if you’re looking for local knowledge, you found the right place.

Kinda gotta run for it with this weather.

All the things we love don’t stop when the seasons change. Just gotta layer up.

Dare we dream of a snowy winter with sunny powder days, nuking whiteouts and a snowpack that sets up well? Can’t hurt. by @backcountryexperience

What’s in your kit when you head out for a hike?

Those @smartwool wool socks keep you warm even when they’re wet.

That @mountainequipment rain shell can mean the difference between cozy and warm or wet and miserable.

A water @katadyn_group filter will keep you hydrated, and @dermatoneskinprotection sunblock for when the clouds break.

A light source is reassuring you if you find yourself out past dark. @petzl_official Headlamps are hands free.
