***⚡Ride the lightning!⚡ ***⁣

This was one of those 'right place at the right time' moments. I took a long exposure in hopes that I would be able to catch the lightning that was sporadically coming down. As soon as I got my camera out and set up the lightning stopped. As I took image after image hoping that something would happen, nothing did. ⁣
⁣
Right before I was about to give up and call it a day, I told myself I would take two more frames. About halfway into my first frame a brilliant strike lit up the scene in front of me and I knew that I had my shot. What I couldn't have possibly hoped for was the perfect alignment! ⁣

This was taken somewhere outside of the #grandcanyon. ⁣

It's been awhile since my last post. Between starting a new job and life I finally got out and captured one of Arizona's stunning sunsets.

First light over the Bay of Kotor. The first image was taken 15 minutes prior to the second. The air was still, the water calm, and the birds were chirping as the sun crested the horizon.
