The most anticipated split bill of the year is here! Catch @gui__w__r and @thegmancomedy bringing you their best @selvacomedycafe

Margarida @gui__w__r fell into a squat loo aged eight and it’s been downhill ever since. The typhoid fever made her look real lean though. After her fifth stint in the asylum, she left with her hair dishevelled and thought she’d turn her life around… by starting comedy. Like Kanye West, this purest of art forms allows her to turn tragedy to triumph and spit her soul through the wire - in a laugh at kind of way. If you would like confirmation that your life really isn’t that bad - BOLARE THIS IS THE SHOW FOR YOU! She doesn’t know what the word “bolare” means, as it was likely invented by the Gypsy Kings, but it sounds…. Soooo cooool, maybe.

Gareth moved to Lisbon before it was cool, now Lisbon is so cool it makes him look very lame. Coming from Ireland, he has adapted to Portuguese culture by really working hard at not working, and spending his free time in long queues for nothing. He is renowned on the Lisbon comedy scene for his ability to make other comedians look great. His life’s goal is to avoid a work related accident in the fruit pressing and juicing industry.

Ash @backpackme will be hosting this hilarious duo and bring it all together!

Nobody's From Here

An English host and three comedians walk into a bar in Lisbon. None of them are from here.

Between them they've lived in more countries than they can comfortably explain, and on September 27th they're getting on stage to try anyway.

Expect real stories, sharp observations, and the kind of comedy that comes from spending your whole life slightly out of place: culture shock, accents, family phone calls that go sideways, and the special chaos of building a life somewhere you weren't born.

🏝️BEACHSIDE COMEDY DATING! We’re bringing our hit, comedy/singles event to Caparica! Dating is a Joke! Is the new way to meet people while also having a blast.

Join us at @pasha_beach_club_restaurant for an unforgettable night. We’re starting at a special time (17h30), so the show ends JUST as the sunsets. How romantic is that??  
No speed dating, no human bingo, no awkward conversations, just a hilarious good time hosted by experienced comedians.

Laughter is guaranteed, even if love isn’t.

This show is in English and suitable for ages 18+.

🧐HOW IT WORKS In the first half, our experienced comedians will warm up the crowd with comedy. Relax, have a drink, and laugh.

Then, we invite people to play dating games with us (all voluntary). It’s a great way to get to know each other in a low stakes fun way—with nonstop laughter.

There’s plenty of time to mingle and chat with others before the show, during the break, and afterwards.   🥸DO I HAVE TO BE SINGLE? No. Though, almost everyone is single. Sometimes we have people come support their single friends, too.

🥲CAN I COME ALONE? Absolutely! Most people do. The night is designed for opportunities to meet new people. Sometimes you have better chances if you’re here alone, anyway.

❤️DOES IT WORK?
It does (sometimes!) We regular have people go on irl dates, as well as couples that have been together for months.

🫣I’M SHY. IS IT ONLY FOR EXTROVERTS? No! We have introvert-friendly activities, too. You never have to go on stage. We want you to be comfortable. However, you will say at least two words to someone.

🫥DO I HAVE TO PARTICIPATE? All of the games are voluntary. We encourage people to step a little out of their comfort zone, but no participation is required.
