POSTS STORIES REELS

We had a meaningful morning talking story with Ari Jennings from @backpacks_blessings , the heart and soul behind this local initiative. Founded by Ari & Kawena, they’re all about empowering Hawaiʻi keiki by ensuring every child gets the confidence and tools they need—backpacks, school supplies, and more.

📦 School Supply Drive happening next week!
They’re accepting donations, volunteers, and support to make sure every student starts the school year equipped for success.

Follow their page, check out what they’ve collected, and discover how you can help gear-up our keiki—whether that’s dropping off supplies or spreading the word. Let’s come together and uplift our youth—for the locals, by the locals. 🤙🏽💛

This October & November, Backpacks & Blessings is taking on TWO missions that mean a whole lot!

🎗️ First, alongside our friends at Hekili Designs, we’ll be putting together care packages for our local cancer warriors.

This mission is inspired by those currently battling cancer, those who have overcome- and in memory of those who fought SO hard and still lost their battle to cancer.

We know a care package can’t take the fight away… but maybe it can bring a little comfort on a hard day. Maybe it can make someone smile. Maybe it can remind someone that there’s a whole community out here rooting for them. 💛

Then in November, we’re taking our annual Week of Thanks and doing it a little differently.

That’s where YOU come in.

Early Access Passes are normally GIFTED or WON.

You cannot just buy them.

Like… AT ALL. 😂

ONLY. ONE. HUNDRED.

And because Hekili Designs said, “We’re in!” — every pass purchased will also come with one of their iconic clear tote bags! 🛍️😍

But at the end of the day, the pass and the tote are just the fun part.

The real reason we’re doing this is the people. 💛

The person sitting through another cancer treatment.

The family going through a rough season.

The keiki whose parents might need a little extra help.

The person who simply needs to be reminded that somebody sees them and somebody cares.

That’s what Backpacks & Blessings has always been about.

So September 15, come hang out with us LIVE.

Laugh with us. Probably watch me mess something up 😂. Grab one of the 100 passes if you can.

From the bottom of our hearts… mahalo for always showing up for these crazy ideas of ours. 😂💛

We seriously couldn’t do any of this without you.

100 passes. Two missions. One community💛

See you guys on the 15th! by @backpacks_blessings
