Sunset 16!! Took my Buddy Chris for his 1st Crappie Adventure and Wow Did we get Spoiled. Both of us Landed a 16+inch Slab and Multiple 15s. Chris even Landed the Biggest Crappie I have ever Seen in Person, coming in just over 16.25". I have Never seen so many Big Slabs in 1 Day. They were munching hard on Maki Plastics paired with a Dave Genz Drop Kick Jig by @clamoutdoors . Such an Unreal Day, Hope to get out again Before this Weather Turns to -40.

New PB Lake Trout coming in at 43.5" - a True Manitoba Monster. Once I set the Hook, I instantly knew she was a Giant. I could Not get her off the Bottom. Once I thought I had Gained on her, she Would shoot right back Down, With my Rod Bent in Half, Drag Squeelin, my Heart Pounding through my Chest, Hands Sweating & Adrenaline Runing Wild. Once she was Finally in the Net I let out the Loudest Victory Holler. I knew she was Monsterous and had Never been so Pumped. This is by Far the Best Fishing Trip I have Ever Been on. In 2 Days between @king__of__cars__ and myself we Caught 15 Manitoba Master Angler Lakers, with 4 being Over 41". Both of us Beat our old PBs Twice Over. I have Never seen so Many Big Fish Caught. It was One Crazy Epic Trip that I will Never Forget

New PB Musky and one of the Biggest Fish of my Life coming in at 49.25". This is Redemption after losing 2 Giants on the 8. This time No mistakes were made. On the 3rd Round on the 8 she Devoured my Bucktail and it was On. It was the most Intense and Nerve wracking Seconds I have ever Experienced Fishing. I Now get How People get Addicted to Musky Fishing. This one will be Hard to Beat but with the New LakeMaster Ontario Lake of the Woods Chip by @humminbirdfishing , Anything is Possible. We Explored further than we have Ever been Before and it Helped us Find where this Giant was Hiding. Now time to Explore even Deeper into Lake of the Woods.

Road Trip 2026 was Another Amazin’ adventure filled with Unforgettable Memories!
South Dakota has SO much to see and do that it was nearly Impossible to fit it all into one week. With very Early Mornings, Full days, and packed Itineraries, the girls were absolute champs every Step of the Way 👣
By the end of the week, we had Walked and Hiked over 71 km and somehow still had the biggest Smiles on our Faces!
What an absolutely Beautiful State with so much to Explore. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend adding South Dakota to your Travel List at least once in your Lifetime.
Another adventure checked off the list, and so many Amazing Memories made along the way. Now time to Start Planning the next one!

Took the family out to the Channel Catfish Capital of the World in Lockport, for some Goldeye and Catfish fishing. Paxtyn landed an Absolute Tank, measuring 38 inches, while Paislee reeled in a unique, almost completely Black Channel Catfish. The girls did an Amazing job Fighting and Landing those Giants, all by themselves. It was a Great Father’s Day, spent doing what I Love Most, Making memories with my Family

This Cool Weather has me thinking about planning a Trip to the Duck Mountains. Hoping to catch some of those Beautiful Trout. Not sure if it’ll happen this Year, but you Never Know! Until then, I’ll be sticking Closer to home, especially with these Crazy Gas Prices

Open Water is finally Here and what an Incredible start to the Season! I Managed to Beat my PB Brook Trout Four Times in a Single Day, Landing 4 Master Angler Brookies. What an Absolutely Stunning fish.

Moments like this are Why I Encourage Catch and Release whenever possible. These Trout are too Beautiful not to Protect, and Releasing them gives others the chance to experience the Fight and Witness those Incredible Colors up close.

Looks like it’s Time to pack away the Ice Fishing gear for the Season. What a great way to wrap up the Winter out on the Ice with family, Chasing
Flags and making memories. We landed some Big Pike, and the girls absolutely crushed it. I wasn’t sure how they’d handle Tip-Up fishing, but they were Hauling them in all on their own.

Now it’s time to Dry out the tents, store the gear, and start looking ahead to Open Water.

Took the girls out for one of their Final Ice Fishing Trips of the Hard Water season. They were determined to wrap up their Perch Specialist for the Manitoba Master Angler Program.
Paxtyn finished her Specialist and was Super Excited. Paislee may not have Completed hers just yet, but she landed an Absolute Tank of a Perch, Tying my personal best at 14 1/8 inches!

Couldn’t be more Proud of both of them. Their Determination and shared love for the Outdoors is Amazing. They kept begging for “just 10 more minutes,” We will Hopefully Squeeze one more Hardwater Adventure before we move onto Open Water.

New PB perch at 14 1/8”! The warm Weather had them Absolutely Munching, Nonstop action all day. I Ended up Landing 10 Manitoba Master Anglers in a Single Trip!

Still plenty of Ice Left, so now it’s Time to Dial in some solid plans for Last Ice

March Madness and Big Greenbacks go Hand in Hand. This Tank crushed a Glow white Wonderbread Ribbon Leech Flutter Spoon from @clamoutdoors , tipped with a Saltie. Nothing beats hooking into a Big Lake Winnipeg Greenback! Hoping to get back out on LW one more time before the Ice Season wraps up.
