Today we are celebrating the life of our father, Harry Hom, who passed away early Sunday morning. Harry had been battling pancreatic cancer for the past year.

Our story all began with Harry. He worked at a laundromat our grandmother ran at Polk and Post in the 60s. Our grandmother sold the laundromat to purchase a building at the corner of Taylor and Washington.

Harry saved every penny from his dental practice to purchase the building from our grandmother. The building contained a bar called The Black Feather, which would be replaced by a restaurant Harry and Beatrice (our mom) owned called Gaetano's. Now, we – siblings Randall and Monica – are incredibly excited and proud to run it Back (to Back).

That's Hot, Honey was Harry's favorite item on our menu. For today, we will be renaming the pizza to That's Hot, Harry, and discounting it by 50%. Long live Harry! taken in Nob Hill, San Francisco by @backtobacksf
