Welp, it’s been a while between posts 💀

When we got back from Tassie, we spent some time in Canberra before shooting to SA to make the most of the last bit of warmth they had. Spent Gather Round with family and friends before heading into QLD to see more family and start a work stint.

We got to our first Cowboys game while in Townsville, and now we’ve settled down in Cooktown for the next 6 weeks while we teach until the end of term.

If anyone knows some cool spots to explore around Cooktown, hit us up!

📍 Tessellated Pavement

How incredible is this rock formation in Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania!!

Formed originally by the Earth’s movement, the salt crystals and constant erosion have deepened the cracks to give us this beautiful pattern 😍

If you’re heading down to Port Arthur, be sure to check this out on your way!

This waterfall took our breath away!

6km return from the bottom carpark (and campground) or 2km return from the upper carpark, this walk takes you along the edge of the creek until you reach the base of the falls 🍃

If you hike from the lower carpark be sure to head up to the upper cascades too, they’re just as beautiful 🙌🏼

Wow, wow, wow!

If you ever get the chance, make sure you go and see the Tasman Peninsula from the water 🚤

We jumped on the Tasman Island Wilderness Cruise with @pennicottjourneys and boy did it deliver! Albatross, seals and SO MANY dolphins 🥹 not to mention the stunning Black Coast with cliffs spanning up to 300m tall!

This day the cruise went all the way from Port Arthur to Pirates Bay, but every cruise can be different due to weather conditions.

Definitely something we would happily do again 🙌🏼

Yet another Tassie hike that treated us to absolute scenes 😮‍💨

Wineglass Bay was definitely up there with our favourites! Absolutely worth every one of the 1000 stairs down to the beach, but you best believe Mack complained the whole way back up 🫢
