I am incredibly stoked to be performing at MOOSHFEST tomorrow for my very first solo performance as PORK FEVER! The final numbers are in for the Grit to Grind Art Show & Benefit, and because of your incredible generosity, we raised a grand total of $1,680! Every single bid on those custom artist decks is turning directly into real-world impact right here in Livingston. We are splitting these funds 50/50 to back two amazing local causes: 🍎 Summer Lunch in the Park – Partnering with the Livingston Food Resource Center and Farm to School of Park County to keep local kids fed, healthy, and happy all summer long. 🛹 Livingston Skatepark Improvements – Teaming up with the Skate Alliance of Montana to upgrade the McNair Gravity Park so our local riders have a safe, top-tier place to skate. April flew by like an Osprey on the hunt… Bacon fam kicked it off by visiting family down Florida way and celebrating Vade’s 15th birthday with a bunch of oysters. Currently without a vehicle, I’ve been battling My Two Vans (movie script coming soon) this past month. 🤞Made it up to Troy to help bust out a little volunteer addition, complete with a new tile tribute for Kolbs (thx Muzzy and McD!). Toss in a bunch of @sashabellsings practices, @mooshfestofficial work for my first solo keyboard performance, a couple @mtskateparkassociation presentations and book events for #grittogrind with my dude @andrewkemmisphoto , and some skating (someone’s got proof) and whatever else I forgot and there you have it. Hyped to be kicking May off hard with some work on the strip and now a mission to CFalls to talk about skatepark progress up North. by @baconmt

Grit To Grind Was Great!!! 🛹🎨 Online Auction is LIVE!!! On April 25, @wheatgrassbooks hosted a special Grit to Grind event with @mtskateparkassociation founders and authors @andrewkemmisphoto & @baconmt, who traveled from Missoula to share stories, answer questions, and sign copies of their new book, Grit to Grind: Shaping Montana Communities One Skatepark at a Time. The night also kicked off a month-long skateboard art show featuring one-of-a-kind decks created by local artists, and now the auction is live online through Givebutter.! Half of the funds raised will support Livingston Food Resource Center’s Summer Lunch in the Park program, helping provide meals for local kids and families in need. The other half will go directly toward future Livingston skatepark improvements, including seating, bathroom access, landscaping, and expanded skate infrastructure. You can still see the art in person upstairs at Wheatgrass Books, open daily from 10AM–5PM. GRIT TO GRIND, and a night that moved the needle. 🛹📚💖 The Procrastinator Theater was packed with stoke, stories, and community for a Grit to Grind reading + panel featuring MSA founders Andy Kemmis and Chris Bacon, plus friends from across Montana’s skate world. The biggest moment of the night: Montana Skatepark Association awarded $100,000 to the Ennis Skate Project. A grassroots dream that started with a small table, stickers, and pure determination just took a massive step forward.
