1 year and 8 months from a devastating ACL tear in the 1st meet of her sophomore season, to a PR clearance of 4m leading into her senior year, 3rd yr of eligibility. Don't ever count this girl out. Though hard work, perseverance, and faith in Jesus, all things are possible. by @bacouchman

☄️ Provisional D2 Standard 6 Left PR ☄️

Proud of this Spark Plug! Melia took a 6 Left run and hit the Provisional D2 standard. She also moved to #3 All Time at Roberts behind Brynn, Myself and now Melia!!! She ended on a 13’7 140 and had no hesitation! It was game day and she came to play!

The most important takeaway…the last meet and practices were not super smooth. There were hiccups and doubts but she fought off the demons and came away with a run PR. Not every meet or every practice is going to be monumental. You have to stay in the game and have a short memory.

She did this and when it was time she vaulted tough and that’s all a coach asks for 🥰 congrats Melia. (👀 that last pic of that arm breaking in)
