I spend my days balancing working and parenting, and paint during naps and bedtime 🌙

Oil on 12x16 coarse gessoboard
Turns out dragons like string lights 🤷‍♂️
Also, i can't say i recommend coarse gessoboard.. it felt like sanding my paint brushes... 😅
Also also, i have been a lot more confident about painting larger canvases, which is something I didn't think i would! by @bacriswell2

Parasomnia
Oil on 16x20
When I started painting, I was only interested in landscapes. Then I began to paint all the things that I thought were “harder” for me to paint and I kind of never went back. It was fun to use everything I had learned since then.

I'd like to share a lil something I like to call.. drawing the HARD way. I asked myself so many times why I did it this way 🤣🫩😅

Oh yeah, also my 5 year old thought she looked like "the girl green ogre" in the beginning 🤣🤣
